Millie the elf gets captured by the Rollis, troll-like creatures who call themselves evil but aren't really that bad, but they let her go upon finding out that she's looking for a Magic Heart of Understanding to save the forest from turning to stone, and Rölli, Lackey, Cacophony, and Longwind join her on a quest to get the heart for themselves to make the Rollis mightier and even more "evil".

* AdaptationalHeroism: Lackey first appeared in ''Film/RolloAndTheSpiritOfTheWoods'' where he was an unrepentant {{Jerkass}} and the BigBad due to being at the front of the Rollis' hostilities towards the Elves. While he's still in this movie a jerk and volatile towards Millie, he gradually turns out to be a JerkWithAHeartOfGold to the point of being as saddened as the others by Millie's DisneyDeath.
