** Many of lessons Sprig learns in various episodes tend to have trouble sticking. In "Cracking Mrs Croaker" a "A Caravan Named Desire" and "Thai Feud" teaches Sprig that you shouldn't force people to like or accept you, and that his obsessive need for attention can be detrimental. The lesson is usually downplayed because Sprig ends up getting what he wants by the end. "Spider-Sprig" ultimately subverted this, after Sprig (as Frog Man) and Robert Otto ended up causing massive property damage and Molly Jo almost ends up getting hurt because of their desire for fame and adoration. Sprig finally seems to realize how selfish he was and how his need for affection does more harm than good, but time will tell if the lesson will stick this time.
