* FromNobodyToNightmare: Johnny Zest goes from the neighborhood's biggest ButtMonkey and ChewToy to becoming one of the most insane, violent, and notorious people around. By Part 18 he's even able to survive being ' 'stabbed in the chest' ' like it's nothing.

* ADateWithRosiePalms: Season 2 adds the option for Sims to "Self Woohoo," the first to do it is Dio. Mr. Krabs also has rosie claws while waiting for Spongebob at the Resident Evil residence.

** [=DoomGuy=]'s death in episode 17 is a notable aversion, because despite Joel losing his save file and [=DoomGuy=]'s death being reverted like all the other examples here, Joel still insists that the events were canon, thus [=DoomGuy=] will be killed in time for part 18.

** After Dio murders the head vampire in episode 3, Joel mentions that the other vampires will find out and hunt down Dio for it, but nothing major seems to happen aside from a couple of vampires walking past and trying to visit the Bogan house in the same episode. (Nobody lets them in and they eventually get bored and wander off.)

* SuddenlyBilingual: Starting at season 2 sims with Russian names start appearing and the new towns have their names written in Cyrillic. ( In reality this is because Joel's mod Kirilian who helped installed the dlc packs is from Russia and somehow unintentionally caused this to happen in his attempt to get the game working properly. )

* TemptingFate: Said right before Garfield almost burns the house down in Part I:

* TookALevelInJerkAss: Johnny Zest started to lose his composure by the end of Season 1 but mainly went after people who directly bothered him. Though by Part 17 he starts attacking random people who had nothing to do with anything while Twitch just wanted to hangout. [[ArsonMurderandJaywalking He also never texts Funky back]].

* ThoseTwoGuys: Nick McLaughlin and Nathan Fontenot. Until Nathan dies.

** The Squarepants house becomes this in part 11, with floors wet either with water, blood or urine and nearly everything broken, including the toilet and shower, meaning the Squarepants household keep urinating themselves and aren't able to clean up. Fortunately part 11 is AllJustADream, and their house in part 12-onwards has yet to fall into this trope.

** Dio experiences one in part 14 when he finds himself unable to assault or kill anyone for basically the whole episode when his targets fight back, he even gets (temporarily) killed by Jotaro and later dies ( again, temporarily) in a house fire after he got trapped in the bathroom by the flames.

* UnsympatheticComedyProtagonist: Everybody Joel plays in Meme House is a psychopath who murders other Sims without second thoughts, and [[ComedicSociopathy it is hilarious]]. The only ones who aren't murderous psychopaths are [[NiceGuy Funky Kong]], [[CosmicPlaything Johnny]] [[OnlySaneMan Zest]] [[DespairEventHorizon until his breakdown]] [[TookALevelInJerkass in episode 12]], [[ThePollyanna vargFren]], [[LovableJock Pepsiman]], [[MadArtist Bob Ross]], [[TokenGoodTeammate Freddie Mercury]] and [[PosthumousCharacter Layne]] [[OnlySaneMan Hartman]].

** To a lesser extent, part 5, due to Enyaba's death at the hands of Kira being the first major character death in the series and Bonzi gaining the demonic powers that grow and become much more of a threat in later episodes.

** Part 12, the GrandFinale of season 1, features Jill and Nemesis' wedding, Johnny finally snapping after all the crap he's been put through over the series and becoming a [[GroinAttack crotch-kicking]] MonsterClown, and Doom Guy John moving in with Johnny, going on a demon-killing rampage before finally killing Bonzi Buddy and putting an end to his reign of terror. He also rescues Funky Kong while he's at it, and Funky moves in with the Bogan household while Garfield burns down the Kong treehouse.

** Early in episode 9, Joel notices Twitch Chat is sad so he selects him to see why and sees his mood is described as Dying due to a fatal illness. Thankfully, in spite of 20% odds, Twitch survives after a successful surgery.

** A more minor example, but while Nathan Fontenot appears as part of the police, he is yet to be partnered with Nick McLaughlin, and for the first two episodes is initially partnered with Bret Blank (who is hacked to death by Dio after the latter escapes from prison in Part 1) and later Finnegan Pierce (who is butchered and eaten by Dio in Part 2).

* AbsenteeActor: Killer Queen and Stray Cat make no appearance in Season 1's finale. Kira was intially this too until he was shown during the epilogue.

Joel's Twitch chat complained after Joel resurrected Dio several times in Parts 14 and 15, getting annoyed that deaths weren't sticking despite Joel saying that the core Bogan household would never stay dead but other characters would, but when in Part 17 [=DoomGuy=] was killed by Vibe Check and stayed dead, Joel's chat instantly started whining that he be brought back, much to Joel's amusement, who decided to really drive home the point that [=DoomGuy=] was, in fact, dead.

* KilledOffForReal: Joel has stated that any playable sim who isn't a part of the core Bulk household will remain dead unless the Grim Reaper agrees to spare them. As of episode 12, vargFren and Big Smoke are dead (but still around), while Bonzi Buddy is entirely dead but still around haunting as an NPC ghost.

* CantGetAwayWithNuthin: In a meta sense. * BurgerFool: Part 17 reveals a new Mcdonald-esque fast food shop in Oasis Springs, which includes: stripper poles, food heavily implied to be drugged with aphrodisiacs due to how hot and bothered many customers look, and the only bathroom can only be reached through a hellish climb on top of a mountain, and inside the bathroom itself is [[SinisterSurveillance covered with a dozen or so security cameras]] observing you doing your busisness.

* FictionalHoliday: Part 15 introduces us to Gamer Day, a winter-time holiday in which people [[NakedPeopleAreFunny go streaking]], eat pizza, smoke weed, and get into fights. Part 17 brings us Dio Day, a day when you must smoke weed, play games, light large fires in the memory of Joseph Joestar, but most importantly give praise to Dio and bring him gifts.

* FictionalHoliday: Part 15 introduces us to Gamer Day, a winter-time holiday in which people [[NakedPeopleAreFunny go streaking]], eat pizza, smoke weed, and get into fights.
