* TheAce: When Kilian attempts to conquer the world in ''VideoGame/CrusaderKings2'', he finds the last remaining ruler - Duke Steven of Some Place, who has the traits Kind, Charitable, Genius, Strong, and Attractive, and proceeds to effortlessly dismantle every attempt Kilian makes on him. Send chancellor to fabricate a claim on his island. Chancellor [[HeelFaceTurn defects]] and somehow gets into a gay marriage with Steven. Change religions and declare holy war with twelve thousand soldiers? Minister of foreign affairs backs down and signs a peace treaty. Hire an assassin? The assassin befriends Steven and they drink hot chocolate. Wait him out? Steven lives to be four hundred years old.

* InsaneTrollLogic: Plenty of his videos feature this, in particular "Why Video Games Should Be Banned" (which claimed that ''VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends'' losing popularity at the same time as cigarettes "can't be a coincidence") and "Why You Should Preorder Every Game" (which argued that games that are [[PortingDisaster broken at launch]] should be seen as fixer-uppers and players are just being lazy for not learning to do so). He angrily claimed that the starting knife in ''VideoGame/CounterStrikeGlobalOffensive'' was obviously the rarest knife, because in every video he'd seen people talking about rare knives, nobody was using it.

* OffscreenMomentOfAwesome: During his ''VideoGame/CrusaderKings2'' video, he resolves to take over the world as the tiny English kingdom of Cornwall, noting that it could take hours. One GilliganCut later, and he controls almost the entire known world.

* AbusiveParents: In Pokemon Ruby, Kilian states that Spike's parents hate her. They make her sit in the back of the moving van during the move to their house in Little Route -which Kilian observes only has one bed because families in this world "are a bit too close" - then her mother throws her out of the house right away, then her father chews her out for not yet beating him.

** In "This Is Archaon The Everchosen", begins with Archaon dying of constipation (from eating his enemies raw). It ends with his replacement Melvin dying of constipation (from not eating enough garlic bread).

--> Kilian: "In the Pokemon Universe [[ParentalNeglect you can throw your kids out when they are 12]]. But if you [[SeriousBusiness use your bike indoors]] [[ParentalNeglect you get the Death Penalty.]]"

** In Dragon Age Origins [[PlayerCharacter The Warden]] Friskers pesters the Prince into dying in his place.
** In Hearts of Iron, after the Axis has defeated and conquered the entire world, New Zealand (Kilian's Faction) first tries joining the Axis and only fights against them AFTER the Axis refuses to accept them.

** Pokemon Fire Red

* EvilIsPetty: The leader of Team Magma [[note]]Maxie[[/note]] states that using lava to create more landmass is just a harmless hobby ... and that he wants a man in his golf club named Robert to stop bragging about a beach house.
* GuileHero: How Kilian makes his character in Dragon Age Origins.

--> Kilian: "I love the trilogy. Mass Effect 2 was amazing and Mass Effect 3 promised an ending we would never forget. [[EsotericHappyEnding They didn't lie!]]"
* InsuranceFraud: When playing Mass Effect, Kilian suspects a colony is only pretending to be under attack for this reason. When he arrives and sees fighting he admits this probably isn't the case.

* Running Gag: In his Warcraft videos, Khadgar being a shitty wizard is mentioned more than one time.

* TheEmpire: In "Pokemon Go - The Best Team", Kilian describes Team Valor as this while encouraging others to join said team.

* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: At the end of "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOv_AcIyRYE&t=24s Garbage Guide To Pokemon Fire Red]]", Kilian trains a Bulbasaur named "LukeSkywk1" to level 100 and uses this Pokemon to beat the League. After capturing Mewtwo he deletes said Bulbasaur.

* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: At the end of "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOv_AcIyRYE&t=24s Garbage Guide To Pokemon Fire Red]]", Kilian trains a Bulbasaur named "LukeSkywk1" to level 100 and uses this Pokemon to beat the League. After capturing Mewtwo he deletes "LukeSkywk1".

* UnreliableNarrator: Kilian openly admits that his reviews have inaccuracies, calling them "Garbage Reviews" and "Ridiculous Recaps".

* BrickJoke: Briefly at the beginning of "Best Theme Park Ever", he mentions that theme parks were invented by TheReptilians to distract humans. The end of the video showed that it was his plan all along that the video would distract you so the Reptilians could [[AllYourBaseAreBelongToUs take over]].
