* OneOfUs: actor SamWitwer guest stars as the wizard Mordenkainen, displaying a deep familiarity with D&D gameplay and lore.

* TheCastShowoff: averted. Fans keep expecting Nate, a professional musician, to actually perform as his character, the Bard Paultin. Other than a few guitar chords and castanet clacks early in the series, this hasn't happened.

A Dungeons and Dragons series hosted by Chris Perkins. A group of adventurers are pulled into the land of Barovia, and desperately try to escape and get waffles. Things go badly. The main characters are Diath, a rogue played by {{ProJared}}, Paultin, a bard played by Nathan Sharp, Evelyn, a paladin played by Anna Robinson, and Strix, a rogue played by Holly Conrad.
