* Both here and in EverymanHYBRID the Rake greatly resembles a Tyranid Genestealer (albeit with one two less arms but this could be a mutation) and the way it has gathered a cult around it in the form of The Family is very similar to the modus operandi of Genestealers.
* The Rake (or the Speaker as The Family calls it) is said to be trying to merge it's reality with our own. Clearly this Genestealer fell through a Warp Rift ending up on early 21st Century Earth. In the process it gained the ability to slip in and out of the Warp. It's true goal is to create a psychic signal loud enough for the Hive Mind to hear several galaxies away and bring them to the Milky Way ahead of schedule.
