* Regarding issue 27, [[https://twitter.com/gregpak/status/1052356395260145664 Pak makes this statement.]] The series goes out with a hell of a bang, which is apparently a pun on the ending. We currently have 2 potential couples in the book. Mystique x Azazel + Sabretooth x Monet. It's possible the bang we go out on may be one or both of these pairs finally getting together (again, in the former's case). The latter has had a very drawn-out ShipTease since 2015 that hasn't been consummated yet, so there's probably some good unresolved sexual tension happening.

It's possible Monet will succeed in saving Creed, and as a result, the "bang" we end on may be their's. They've had a very drawn-out ShipTease that lasted around a year in Uncanny. Now, they're back together after being separated for over a year after that, then they almost lose each other again. A good shag when they finally make it out of this current battle in Hell would be understandable. That is if Pak is writing Creed x Monet, and not using them as a red-herring before putting Creed back with Mystique again.

* Regarding issue 27, Pak mentions the book ends there & they go out with "A Hell of A Bang." He says that statement is a pun that will be clear when fans read the issue. It's possible Creed will be saved with the help of Monet & subsequently spared. As a result, that bang we end on may be their's. They've had a very drawn-out ShipTease and an attraction for one another that seemingly hasn't been acted on. And they're back together after having been separated for over a year, and almost losing one another again. Nobody would fault them if they had a good shag-fest one they finally finish the current mission.

* Sabretooth's Inversion may be undone in issue 27. The solicit mentions him paying for the road he's taken in life & [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/marveldatabase/images/6/61/Weapon_X_Vol_3_27_Textless.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20180919044024 the cover]] has an upset Monet holding him tightly while he unravels like thread. Monet is shown to have a piece of his thread wrapped around her hand & finger, showing just how hard she's trying to hang on to him. Covers [[CoversAlwaysLie don't always tell the truth]], but it doesn't paint a good picture -unless Monet actually does manage to keep him from fully "unraveling" before it's too late.

* The Weapon X-Force cover on issue 22 has the team bursting through the cover of the old team pictures in issue #1. The positions may hint at the roles the characters will play going forward. Deathstrike & Domino are in their same old spots, hinting no change. However, Creed is the new leader & he's tearing through Logan's old picture. Omega Red is in Warpath's spot, so he may be Creed's right-hand, most devoted ally, and strongest team member. Finally Mystique is in Creed's old spot. Creed was the wild card who wasn't trusted, sometimes caused extra trouble for the team, and constantly had complaints about the leadership. This may be the role Mystique will occupy, especially given her track record of constant betrayal & manipulation of others. The first chapter of Weapon X-Force calls this out when it lists "shadiness" as one of her powers.
