[[WMG: Big Mom's Devil Fruit power is similar to Wapol's]]
With the big difference that it allows for the creation of ''living'' objects. By eating people along with lots and lots of food, Big Mom transforms them into other creatures. This would explain the presence of living doors, living flowers, and even the singing figurehead of her ship. Technically, it'd be the "direct superior" of Wapol's DF.
*Jossed, her powers don't work that way

[[WMG: Big Mom's monstrous form is actually a manifest Logia form to hide her true form]]
* From what I've seen, her head is far too big to support the rest of her body, and even with the strange body shapes of the characters, they at least have a big enough body to not make the head seem oversized. I'm guessing she ate some sort of Acid Acid Fruit that allows her to drool acid

[[WMG: Big Mam has a plant logia or paramecia]]
The last two characters in her name which mean Mam can be translated as mum or mom instead. Mum is one nickname for a flower called chrysanthemum. This flower is actually used as the symbol for the [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imperial_Seal_of_Japan imperial seal of Japan]] as well as other things related to the emperor.(Though this could simply be a subtle pun on her status as a Yonkou) However, the major hint at her having plant powers is [[http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110112203156/onepiece/images/2/2b/Big_Mom%27s_Jolly_Roger.jpg that her flag]] itself has a tree in the bottom right corner.
* It could also be a Zoan, of the as-of-yet unseen plant category.
** I don't know if Trees are classified as animals.
*** They ''aren't''. Animals and plants are entirely different kingdoms of life.
*** Mythical Zoan model Dryad/Wood Nymph could work
* Jossed, she has the Soul Soul Fruit. It's unrelated to plants (though plants happen to be one of the things she can give life to).

[[WMG: Kidd will team up with Law and Luffy to take down Big Mom.]]
Between the ChekhovsGun of him attacking her allies, and these arcs all possibly being part of the "Super Rookie Saga", the concept seems fairly obvious. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he's going to join them at Wano, which shall be the next and probably last destination before the assault on Whole Cake Island.

[[WMG: Jinbe's duty is to his ex-crew.]]
There is a reason why Camie told Luffy that if she told the details about the crew leaving Fishman Island after Jinbe's Warlord of the Sea status was revoked, it would be a long story (seen [[http://www.manga-access.com/manga/O/One_Piece/chapter/609/7 here]]). Also, there was some speculation to why the crew didn't join the fight against Hody and where they are now. It's possible that the crew is no longer in good terms with Jinbe (especially after Jinbe continued to be a Warlord and remained friendly with Whitebeard after [[spoiler: Fisher Tiger's death and Queen Otohime's (supposed) assassination by a human.]]) Perhaps Jinbe wants to reconcile with his crew before he joins the Straw Hats and explain to them what had really happened.

[[WMG: Sanji has an angsty past (before Baratie) where he failed to protect someone]]
One of Sanji's [[{{berserkButton}} Berserk Buttons]] is when the villain he's fighting calls him weak and says that he can't protect anyone. From being at his limit, lying bleeding on the ground or barely being able to stand, he instantly goes from 0 to 100 and goes batshit insane. He proceeds to beat the villain to a bloody pulp while enraged shouting "Who's weak?! Who can't protect anyone?! [[strike:Who's your daddy?!]]" or something like that.

Pre-Baratie, Sanji was a normal kid with a normal haircut who lived peacefully in North Blue. But then something really crappy happened. Maybe pirates came and burned it all to the ground. Whatever happened, his home was successfully destroyed. He tried to protect a family member, friend, or childhood love interest, he failed. The person he tried to protect probably got killed because no one is safe in flashbacks. Along the way, he managed to fuck up his left eye or the left side of his face so badly that he hides it under his hair because he doesn't want to be reminded of the past. So he joined that random ship as a chore boy and vowed to never become so weak that he fails to protect people he loves. Something like that.
* And during the second half of the story, we'll get even more Backstory on the main characters. Double your sadness, double your glum! (With Doublemint Devilfruit Gum!)
* It could certainly be possible, what with the very recent revelation that [[spoiler:Luffy and Ace had Sabo, who was apparently killed by the World Nobles visiting their island. Which means that to date, Sanji is the only Straw Hat who's left to reveal whether he lost anyone important during his childhood or not.]]
* WordOfGod said that Sanji's eye underneath the hair was perfectly functional. [[spoiler:This was proven after the TimeSkip]].
** [[spoiler: Jossed, that's not how his past unfolds.]]

[[WMG: Sanji will weaponize his nosebleeds.]]
We've seen what happens when he gets one-flying incredibly far. Now what would happen if he was fighting a bad guy, and a bunch of sexy women showed up? Nosebleed rocket head butt, that's what.
* Considering the story is [[{{Deconstruction}} deconstructing the nosebleed concept completely(what with having Sanji be laid out near death and in severe need of a blood transfusion after every occurrence of it)]], that is a ''serious'' stretch.
* Jossed.

[[WMG: Pudding lied to the Straw Hats]]
Not about everything, but most things, as good liars mix in truths and half-truths with falsehoods. I have a few pieces of evidence about this. Number 1, she showed in her very first appearance that she's a good liar when she saved Luffy and Chopper's asses. Number 2, she's ''Big Mom's freaking daughter'', and I think Pedro was right to think that her being afraid of Big Mom is reason enough for her to lead them into a trap (look at her nervous face when he says that). I mean, we know Big Mom wants to sacrifice Luffy at this tea party, so it would make sense if she had her daughter bring them right to her. Lastly, while I think it's probable she really did meet Sanji, notice that everything she said about him was things anybody could learn from looking at his Wanted Poster and/or secondhand knowledge (that he's gentlemanly, he's a chef, he has heart eyes, he's called "Black Leg"). So, just throwing all this out there. I mean, even as I say all this, I think she ''seems'' pretty genuine; but honestly, we have no idea what kind of effect being raised by a psychopath like Big Mom could have had on this girl's personality.
* Oh, also, this might be shot in the dark, but it's possible the theme of this arc is "deception". Pudding lied in her intro. Pekoms is lying to his crew. Pedro seems like he's hiding something. Reiju and Yonji are hiding that they met the Straw Hats. "Niji" (Sanji's second brother) calls "Ichiji" (the first) a liar when he says he wants to see Sanji.
* Good points, but Doflamingo is the living proof that the apple can sometimes fall incredibly far away from the tree, so I personally believe Pudding's personality is genuine despited being raise by Big Mom (Besides, who says her father didn't raise her?), and that she wouldn't lead the Straw Hats into a trap or sell them out. Or at least, if she does, that she'll regret it and that it won't be done out of malice (Kind of like Conis in the Skypiea arc).
* [[spoiler: Jossed, the living objects on the island are the ones feeding Big Mom info, and Pudding is worried over having not been able to get to the coast]].

[[WMG:Burgess is planning to steal Devil Fruit's powers from Donquixote's Family members]]

Maybe I am reaching too far here... But what if Burgess is planning to take Devil Fruit powers from some or all of Donquixote's Family members? I mean, he was here for a Mera Mera fruit, while Teach already had one fruit of a logia type. We don't know how Teach took the power from Whitebeard and how he survived it, but he managed to do so. Almost all members of Donquixote family have devil fruit powers, so maybe Teach will give devil fruits with their powers to his crew? Burgess also carries on his back a bag with an image which closely resembles a devil fruit, which seems to be full. What if it is packed with devil fruits? What if he knows the way to steal the devil fruit's powers from their users without killing them, and will use it to steal the powers from members of Donquixote's family? Or what if he already did it, and that was the reason, why it took so long for him to reach there? Alternatively:
* Jossed. It's likely he would have ''tried'' to take one of their powers if the opportunity came around, but it would seem his target was mostly just the Flame Flame fruit.

The underworld brokers who were watching Caesar's broadcast? At least one of them was a Vinsmoke. In fact, there were two in particular- both long blond haired men- who possibly could have been one of Sanji's brothers.

[[WMG: Sanji will fall for Purin but Carrot will involuntarily snap him out of it]]
If his reaction at just seeing her photo is of any indication, and she turns out to be a good person and a good match for him, he'll fall for her ''hard'', even more in case she was the only good-looking woman around (imagine if her other sisters were as ugly as Big Mom); he'll lose his usual antics, and think marrying Purin is the best course of action. Just when they are about to be married, the "Rescue Team" will come crashing the party (in more ways than one) and Carrot, happy to see Sanji again, will instinctively "garchu" him. Such physical contact will awake him from his trance, realizing he was leaving his friends behind.

So with the latest info at this time, we've gotten a look at a curly-browed man who looks a lot like Sanji. * I'm gonna say Jossed seeing as how he almost ''did'' actually die from this poisoning as a result of his culinary incompetence. [[WMG: Luffy's bad cooking is intentional]]
* Or : How Luffy's being MagnificentBastard.
* First, it's impossible for him to survive if he didn't know to cook at all. Plus, isn't it weird that Luffy offered to cook in the first place?
He planned it all along! The reasons as follows.
** Noticed that, unlike saving Robin (or any other critical mission) Sanji is not really in danger.
** The crew he brought in the mission are the 'coward' ones. This is lampshaded by the chapter cover, where Usopp, Nami, Chopper and Brook are the ones freaked out in rollercoaster.
** Luffy thought that the crew might be disheartened - for the fact they're possibly going against yonkou's crew, plus Sanji himself is not in real danger (bonus point if he really liked Pudding and considered to stay). It might weakened their resolve.
** He intentionally made bad food, in order to make his crew realized the importance of Sanji. "We must have him at any cost! The alternative is starvation!" he manipulates them to think this way.
* He probably didn't plan to lost all rations...however he was distraught by the newspaper that the fire ended up burned it anyway.
** Alternatively, he ate all the food beforehand. Luffy didn't have issue of 'starving' the crew (noticed that in Alabasta arc Usopp, Luffy and Chopper eating all rations so the Strawhats ended up have to fish to find food). He could calculate they would reach Big Mom's in few days, so it's not like they would really starve. Plus, they could always fish.
* Being poisoned could also be part of his plan. After Impel Down, he was immune to most poison anyway, it's not like he'd die from it. He's guilt-tripping the others.
* I'm gonna say Jossed seeing as how he almost ''did'' actually die from this poisoning as a result of his culinary incompetence. [[WMG: "Sanji" isn't his birth name.]]
Rather, it's a nickname that the cooks on the cruise ship gave him, which he's been hearing for so long that he's taken it as his own. In Japanese, "Sanji" is a way of saying "three o'clock", so it's possible that they gave him the nickname because he was mainly in charge of handling plates from the 3:00 pm shift or something.
* Well, possible, but Sanji is also a given first name. It's when you separate the syllables (San-ji) that it becomes three o'clock. Sort of how like "Onigiri" and "Oni-giri" are two completely separate things.
* Seems pretty much jossed given the theme naming of his siblings.

[[WMG: Duval is related by blood with Vinsmoke family]]
* However in volume 0 he was considered cursed as he was born so he was abandoned.
** Jossed. Reiju (Sanji's older sister) mentioned him as an unrelated man who happened to look like Sanji's old wanted poster by sheer coincidence.

[[WMG: Sanji is a tenryuubito]]
* Specifically, he's related to Rocinante. They actually looked similar. Sanji said he came from North Blue. He also had talent to act behind the scene.
* There's reason that Sanji never had his face in wanted poster. One time he did, he is wanted ALIVE.
* Almost impossible. World Nobles are a such a huge deal, that fact would have been made clear immediately if it was true.
** Jossed: With all this talk about his father, somebody would've mentioned if they were World Nobles by now.

[[WMG: Purin will be a terrible person, to the point Sanji will even break his "never hit a woman" policy]]
Whether she is the three-eyed girl on Big Mom's ship or not, she will be quite beautiful and Sanji will be mesmerized by her... only for her to reveal a ''very'' nasty side; his inability to hit a woman no matter what (even a monstrosity like Big Mom) will sting really a lot. Following a flashback on Sanji's life before the fated encounter with Zeff, showing us what trauma led him to that, Sanji will finally snap out of it and kick Purin to save one of his crewmates from being killed by her. And given [[ItRunsOnNonsensoleum how Sanji's increases in power have worked post-timeskip so far]], the loss of that handicap will make him incredibly more powerful - Luffy will be having a hard time against Big Mom and it will be Sanji who effectively defeats her.
* This is extremely doubtful. Remember, Sanji wouldn't hit Kalifa even if it meant risking not being able to save Robin and/or his own death. At this point I'd have to imagine he would rather pull an Ace and [[TakingTheBullet Take The Bullet]] if Purin was going to kill a crewmember rather than hit her.
* Considering the first look we got at her personality in chapter 826, it's pretty much Jossed. She's quite the opposite, a really NiceGirl who's even noted by Nami to be "far too forgiving".

[[WMG: "Calico" Yorki was a member of the Vinsmoke family]]
This would explain Brook's reaction; he familiarized the Vinsmoke name with his old captain.
* I'm gonna say Jossed now, as he lacked the telltale swirly brows. In fact, it's more likely that the Vinsmokes were the ones who killed Brook.

[[WMG: Big Mom adopts women as her daughters Similar to Whitebeard and his sons.]]
Considering that Purin is apparently her thirty fifth-daughter, which is impossible even by One Piece standards, maybe she takes in women she likes and calls them her daughters. She might have some actual daughters, but most of them are probably unrelated women who decided to join the Big mom Pirates.
* While unlikely, 35+ children is [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_people_with_the_most_children completely possible]]. The current record holder is ''69'' from a single woman!
* Jossed. She did have a lot of kids. It's possible that some of them might be her stepdaughters/sons from her husbands though or adopted...but it's definitely different than what Whitebeard did.

[[WMG: The ship Zoro sliced was Foxy's new ship]]
I can't be the only one who thinks so.
* Nope. The anime shows the ship's captain giving a RousingSpeech to his crew. There's no indication of who he is, but he sure as hell isn't Foxy.
* Jossed

[[WMG: Luffy now had a tatoo on his arm.]]
Probably it's the old 3D2Y or it's something similiar like Ace. ASL maybe? We never see him without his sleeves since timeskip, after all.
* Jossed

[[WMG: Theory about how Luffys bounty is going to raise over 400 mil,to join Jimbe join the crew(his bounty is currently higher than Luffys and Oda never put someone into the crew with a higher bounty than Luffy,so far.]]
* The story is currently taking place on the [[HailFirePeaks wastelands of Punk Hazard]] inhabited by mithological creatures and a shady organization (which dosen't seem to be connected to the WG) of strange looking man in hazmat suits and their mysterious leader "M". It probably would have been another fine day of conspiracy and morally questionable experiments for the, had they not made the mistake of choosing the Strawhats as their newest guineapigs (how the hell did they not recognize them anyway?). The next logical step is of course that the Strawhats unite and reduce [[CurbStompBattle their face, their base]] [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill and probably half of the island]] into fienly grinded dust. However, Somkers ship is anchored right next to the island and will undoubtabley report the awesome battle he witnessed. Wheter he does it right away,or after engaging Luffy and (finally)getting his ass kicked is a different WMG.
* Except that it seemed Punk Hazard is going to be ''no where near'' as easy as Fishman Island. And currently Luffy and Law are both down, while Smoker and Sanji are somewhat [[FreakyFridayFlip crippled (...by Law)]].
* Nico Robin had a higher bounty than Luffy initially, so your logic isn't sound.
** Well it depends on how you count it because while she joined while his bounty was 30 million his bounty was raised to 100 million right after she joined
* Jossed, he got a raise after Dressrosa

[[WMG: Koala will join the Strawhat Pirates.]]
After the end of the Fishman Island Arc the Strawhat are likely to find some sort of new determination to save the fishmen/defeat the Tenryuubito due to what they've done/etc. Koala joining the Strawhat would be kind of symbolic of this. Perhaps she would have a backstory showing her finding out [[spoiler: that she had unwittingly led her own savior to his death]], had a breakdown, and ultimately formed a dream to unite the Fishmen and the humans. She could maybe fill in the role of a mediator of sorts, mirroring what Otohime has done. And while Jinbe may would fit more for the whole representation of their values thing, there's one huge of problem of the Strawhat having fish as primary part of their diet...
* Koala would be what...30? By now? Just about...Would be interesting to see that, really. But she might just get a cameo as a revolutionary. Knowing Oda, that's very likely, actually.
* Koala is 23... I think? If I'm not mistaken, her flashback was from 12 years ago. We need more crew member that has some kind of emotional connection with the fishmen, but no really important whether the crew is a fishmen or no. By having a human with that kind of ideal has more impact because after the Straw Hats action against Hody, the only people who still have doubt of human-fishmen co-exist are humans themselves. Seeing one of them has that kind of view surely shaken them up.
* I agree with the view that Jinbe would be a better fit for having the whole "dream to unite Fishmen and humans" as well as having a better reason to be with the Straw Hat crew itself to begin with (considering how close he feels to Luffy and how guilty he feels for Arlong's treatment of Nami). Then there's also a WMG near the top of this page outlining Jinbe joining the crew - see above.
* Shirahoshi could also fit that bill, with previous WMG putting her on potential true companion shortlist. Who better to fulfill her mother's dream of experiencing all humanity has to offer than her previously-isolated daughter?
** But what would Shirahoshi contribute to the Straw Hats? Plus, she's too big to fit on the Thousand Sunny anyway, and besides, she'd be in constant danger from persons who'd want to sell mermaids as slaves. Again, I believe Jinbe is a better fit (he at least has experience on board ships, and can certainly defend himself well enough).
*** 1. Shirahoshi was shown in chapter 625 to have a legendary power over Sea Kings. 2. She's a gigantic mermaid. She could probably outpace the Thousand Sunny. 3. Shirahoshi won't be in any more danger from wannabe slavers than Luffy was for punching a world noble in the face. 4. We don't know how well Shirahoshi can defend herself. This is One Piece, for crying out loud. Being a sheltered crybaby doesn't prevent her from being a badass any more than Usopp's cowardice or Foxy's lack of confidence makes them pushovers. 5. Most importantly, the Straw Hats still need a counterpart for San Juan Wolf.
*** Chapter 626 mentions a prophesy that someone will appear to guide Shirahoshi and help her change the world. If that's not {{Foreshadowing}} then I don't know what is.
* Unlikely, since [[she's a revolutionary. Hats off to the guy above who got that right]].
* I'd put it in Jossed I guess

[[WMG: The real tenth strawhat.]]
Partly response to the WMG above and partly a theory I've been thinking about for a long time. If Jinbe really isn't going to join the Strawhats as an active member(as in:going towards Raftel, andventuring and having sever hedaches because of Luffy) than I think it may be Sabo who'll fill this post. There is a debate wheter the horribly injured someone who Dragon brought on his ship after leaving Goa kingdom was Sabo or not, but for the sake of guessing let's say it was indeed him,and he's still alive and kickin to this very day. I'm also prety sure that the Strawhats sooner or later must meet with the Revolutionaries and Dragon, and in case Sabo really is still alive, he's probably still with them. How and why will he join? I don't have the slightest clue but it's going to be awesome!!!
* [[spoiler: Sabo has been found alive, but doesn't look like he's joining]]
* Jossed, he seemed too busy in the Revolutionary
