!! Girlfriend is manipulating, or at least hiding something from, Boyfriend. !!
Truth be told, this theory's been in floating around since Week 6, but with Mid-Fight Masses out, this troper think this needs to be said. See, Girlfriend acts... really suspicious during both epilogues, with Girlfriend utilizing herself in order to get Boyfriend to stop asking questions. Week 6 ends off with Boyfriend, confused about the whole ordeal with Spirit, trying to ask Girlfriend a few questions before she cuts him off, mostly being played off as a joke. Mid-Fight, on the other hand, is much more direct, with Boyfriend directly asking if she's going to take his soul for herself. The text box even reads "Uncomfortable Silence," before she kisses him, dropping the subject entirely. What she has planned, only time will tell.
* Bonus points if this ends up being foreshadowing to [[VideoGame/VSTabiExBoyfriend Tabi]].
