Ben has clearly already assumed that Future Fenton is a future version of Danny, but FF keeps reacting to that with confusion. We don't know what their face looks like or what they sound like (the motion comic will give them a voice soon, though likely filtered through the suit anyway), so they might not even be male. They mostly use Fenton tech, but even if they are using Danny's ghost powers, that doesn't mean it's him. Although of dubious relevance here, Butch Hartman once revealed that if most other people, like Tucker or Sam, had gone through the ghost portal accident, they would have died instead of receiving powers like Danny did. However, [[Recap/DannyPhantomS2E16MastersOfAllTime we know that if Danny's father had gone through the portal, he would have gotten powers.]] This means it's probably genetic. So maybe Future Fenton is Jazz after replicating the accident.
