As noted on the [[Headscratchers/CloneHigh Headscratchers]] page, it's weird that whoever's in charge of the project would allow the clones to live normal teenage lives as opposed to keeping them locked away from the public in a perpetual boot camp while training them to be ChildSoldiers. What if the person who made that decision is trying to sabotage the project and prevent the board's attempted takeover of the world?

Any character that was supposedly cloned by taking the DNA from the corpse of a historical figure who either died too long ago for their DNA to be recognizable, was cremated after dying or was buried in an unknown location is an ArtificialHuman passed of as a clone while any character that was supposedly cloned from a historical figure who didn't meet those criteria is a genuine clone.

**isn't it also possible their environment/parents play a role in making them different? The real Abe Lincoln's father was abusive and neglectful even by that time periods standards and most hated his kids trying to learn, causing most of Abe's education to be self-driven. Since clone!abe doesn't have those issues it would make sense he might channel that drive into some thing like being popular/dating

[[WMG: The clones were flawed by presumption.]]
Bringing back the dead isn't easy nor are historical accounts always accurate. The reason so many of the clones have disparate personalities and even seriously different body types from the originals is they got Jurassic Parked in the lab during creation. They were meant to be copies of previously existing people so they were intentionally modified to correct any supposed genetic issues. Prime example, Genghis is huge because his conquest and physical prowess is what he was remembered for not his genius mind so he was altered to exaggerate his physique which seriously damaged his mind.

[[WMG:It's never coming back]]
The series lasted less than a year with a mere thirteen episodes, and it has only obtained the cult it has today thanks to the Internet, as it faded into near obscurity after it was CutShort.

[[WMG: The Board reminds clones of how their predecessor died to control them.]]
The Grassy Knoll diner and the portrait of Lincoln being shot are just a couple of examples of strategically-placed "reminders" of how the clones' predecessors originally died. In addition, Joan seems acutely aware of the whole "burned at the stake" deal. The real reason there was a 38% chance of it happening again was actually because the Shadowy Figures use these as veiled threats to keep the clones in line. Mr. B was likely listing off a statistic regarding clones who were made an example of.
