In Book 9, he immediately recognized that the "ectoplasm" oozing out of Kipper and his friends' lockers, courtesy of "Wedgie Magee, the Patron Ghost of Kindergarteners", was simply a shaving cream prank, and even knew the exact method of how it got in the lockers in the first place. The way he worded it sounded like he was speaking from personal experience.
