After trying to apologize to Lucy and failing miserably, he would realize that his former friendship with Lucy is destroyed beyond repair and that he could never be forgiven for what he's done. Hell, if he walked in her general direction again, her brothers would probably beat the tar out of him. He would also probably be kicked from (or leave voluntarily) the table by his friends (especially Paulo) in an attempt to get Lucy back. The only people he could turn to then would be either his family (his parents are probably busy with work, Chris is just 3-5 years old, and his sister will probably only bug him), his girlfriend Sandy (who is all the way in Richter), and Abbey, and he's more than likely still dealing with his breakup with Daisy (so no support from Daisy maybe); UpToEleven if Sandy breaks up with him. Socially isolated and not able to probably deal with his negative feelings, he would start thinking about running away given that there is nothing for him in Roseville now (i don't think he would attempt suicide like Lucy, he's probably much more mentally stable than that). In terms of place he could run away to, it could either be to Sandy's house in Richter (if they haven't broken up) or to some other city (most likely somewhere on the East Coast, given that the author said that the city of Roseville is on the East Coast). So in terms of cities, maybe New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington D.C., all the way down to Florida? So many possibilities. I know runaway teen is cliche and all but it would still make a very good plot and would cover the issue of teenagers running away from home and what dangers they would face.
