* NothingIsScarier: Most of the time, especially in the beginning, the worst you'll see are some small items moving of their own accord but considering that Leta is all alone at home at night it will come off as unsettling at least.

A teenage photographer Leta and her best friend Lina go for a walk in the mountains where they stumble upon a strange old music box. Lina decided to take the strange item home: nobody needs it anyway, right? Soon after that Lina goes missing without explanation leaving behind only a photo of the ominous item.

Some time later a photograph of Lina starts appearing in Leta's home no matter how many times she gets rid of it. Then one night when Leta's mom is working late into the night and Leta is home all by herself strange noises begin to sound in her apartment, items start moving of their own accord and the lights go out. Things go downhill from there.

!! These examples are trying to mess with your home:
* AlienGeometries: The flat takes on these in certain moments. See bizarrchitecture below.
* ArtStyleDissonance: Leta - the main protagonist's moe visual doesn't go very well with the spooky mood of the game.
* Bizarrchitecture: Leta's flat sometimes switches rooms all of a sudden, a door leads to an unrealistically long hallway or the door leading to the kitchen sends you into the bathroom instead.
* CoversAlwaysLie: Leta looks considerably skinier in the cover art than in the game proper.
** Also in the game she gets some supernatural scars around her mouth but is never actually seen with her MouthStitchedShut with wires as in the title screen.
* DissonantSerenity: Leta takes practially all the creepy and traumatizing stuff with casualty which only makes it creepier.
* GainaxEnding: While the ending tries to explain a few thingsan organized crime group named Saga abducting young girls mostly you'll remain baffled by what was really going on.
* HellIsThatNoise: trope. Strange ominous sounds get Leta's attention at given moments and clue her in that something bad is going on in her home.
* InnerMonologue: All of Leta's thoughts are in the subtitles or loading screens.
* JumpScare: Not many sudden loud sounds but many times you'll turn around only to find the monster two inches from Leta's face staring right into it.
* MinimalistCast: The game's cast consists only of Leta, Lina and the anonymous creepy sewn-mouth antagonist monster. No other characters make an appearance even if they're mentioned.
* MouthStitchedShut: In the title screen a girl'sprobably Leta mouth is visible stitched shut. With wires. squick Yikes.
** The primary antagonist's mouth is also stitched with wires but that doesn't deter him from letting out sickening growls and screeches.
* MultipleEndings: There are two, one Ending and one that's kind of ending.
* NothingIsScarier: Most of the time, especially in the beginning, the worst you'll see are some small items moving of their own accord but considering that Leta is all alone at home at night it will come off as unsettling at least.
* OminousVisualGlitch: The game is chock-full of these.
* PerpetualFrowner: You'll never see Leta smile once in the game.
* PuniPlush: Leta indeed looks quite plushy.
* TheShutIn: In the opening narration it is mentioned that Leta spends most of her time at home after her best friend went missing.
