* ArbitrarySkepticism: Elco really couldn't believe that supernatural powers were at play, even as he received Tetsu's blessing. This is the reason why he receives his blessing too late (after he and Tal rescued Ailish and Buki at Cyantine, which completes 3/4 of the main plot), as opposed to the more spiritual Buki who receives her blessing at Transentia and arguably Ailish and Tal (who received their respective second blessings twice and they received them earlier before Buki's second blessing) but it was more about their TheDeterminator to do what is right attitude rather than spirituality.
