Added DiffLines:

* CharacterCustomization: Unlike ''Grand Chase'' and ''{{VideoGame/Elsword}}'', you use a player-created character as the protagonist instead of preset characters. You can choose a "type" for them (which determines available cosmetic options), as well as adjust various parameters including hair and face design, body shape, and bust size/softness.
* GenreShift: From TwoAndAHalfD MMORPG to 3D MMO fighting game.

Opposing the Bellatos Army is "Chase", an organization based in the floating island of Eltheca. The members of this Chase, known as "Chasers", work to stop the Bellatos Army's twisted crusade once and for all. As a Chaser, you must rise up the ranks by proving yourself in combat against fellow Chasers to gain the power to fight the Bellatos Army and ultimately ascend to the rank of "Grand Chase".

In ''[=KurtzPel=]'', progress is divided up into Epic Quests and PlayerVersusPlayer. Epic Quests are deeply intertwined to the story and pit the player in solo combat against various bosses and monsters. To gain the opportunity to tackle Epic Quests, you must participate in PlayerVersusPlayer duels to raise your Rank; higher ranks allow you to access more Quests and more story.

Fighting takes the form of [=2v2=] battles where each player fights with "Karma". Karma are unique battle styles that come in five forms, divided into two major archetypes: Breakers, which are able to bypass SuperArmor easier and deal more damage to a boss's BreakMeter, and Slayers, who specialize in stronger direct damage. Each Karma is associated with a weapon and Karma Crystals that dictate a player's abilities; Karma Crystals can be earned and upgraded by boosting RelationshipValues with various "Hero Chasers" that possess relevant Karma. Players can bring up to two Karma into a battle, which can be swapped with a simple button press.
----
!!''[=KurtzPel=]'' provides examples of:

* LimitBreak: Each Karma has access to a Rage Skill that can be activated with Q if the gauge is full. This Skill typically deals massive damage to anything in its target zone.
* PlayerVersusPlayer: To progress in the story, you need to level up your Rank by fighting with other players. There are three major PVP modes.
** Deathmatch: First to five [=KOs=] wins.
** Capture the Flag: Hold a flag to earn points. The team with the most points when time expires wins.
** Conquest: King of the Hill. Maintain a position in a specific area to tilt a gauge at the top of the screen to your side. Whichever side the gauge is on when time expires wins.
* RelationshipValues: An integral part of character progression. After finishing a battle, there is a chance that you may encounter a Hero Chaser, whom you can talk to with a DialogueTree. You can ask them about their personal life, recent news or battle tips, and depending on their answer, you may pick up a Keyword from them, which gives a large boost to their Affinity. When Affinity reaches a certain level, the Hero Chaser will gift you a present on your next encounter with them, which may involve cosmetics or Karma Crystal upgrades.
* VideoGamePerversityPotential: Clothing is optional. There's even an Undergarments slot for Clothing in the event that you either wear something that reveals it or just take off your clothes.
