The game features a pair of humans; Louis and Iris; and the sentient WorldTree seed Cor as they ride on a massive walking fortress to help fulfill Louis's destiny as a hero with an honored ancestor as they recruit more people on their side while upgrading and rebuilding the fortress to gain more power.
------------------------------------------------------
* BaseOnWheels: Louis owns a {{Steampunk}} bastion on four mechanized legs, powered by a sentient seed of the WorldTree. For defense, it has a massive cannon and several ports for heroes to attack from. The fort can be extended and newer models earned, including one that's the Sydney Opera House hovering on {{Magitek}} rockets. As a true base, it can house a sauna, cannery, forge, arcane workshop, et cetera.
* CatFolk: One of the various races featured in the game are a group of anthropomorphic cats with a group of them employed to overlook repairs on the mobile fortress called the Repair Cats.
* GoshDangitToHeck: Averted with Tough Jack as he has the word "Hell" as part of his "Heaven or Hell" tatoo, even in the U.S.A.
* ImpossiblyLowNeckline: Annie wears a dress that the top portion plunges down low enough to reveal her shoulderblades.
* LightIsGood: Louis and Iris wear light-colored shirts and are two of the game's main heroes who ride on a mobile fortress as they fight to protect the world.
* MilitaryMashupMachine: Louis begins with a Steampunk bastion walking on 4 mechanized legs. It's powered by a sentient seed of the World Tree and for defense it has a massive cannon and several balconies for heroes to attack from. Later he can extend the fort's size or earn other forts such as the Sydney Opera House flying on Magitek rockets.
* MsFanservice:
** While Iris's dress is modest everyday wear, it does outline that she has a fairly buxom body and lacks sleeves, showing off her arms as a result.
** The lady who overlooks the cannon summoning wears an open vest and wears a {{Sarsashi}} over her ample breasts with only her cleavage bared by it.
* PrimAndProperBun: Anytime Iris appears on the costume summoning screen, she has her waist-length hair rolled up and tied into a bun as she overviews the alternate outfits other people get dressed in.
* {{Underboobs}}: The top of Lillith's attire is narrow enough to reveal the underside of her bust.
* WorldTree: The power source of Louis's machine is a seed that comes from the tree the trope refers to.
