The game will not be released for the public to play until the video episodes have finished, with each episode being released the 12th of every month onto [[http://www.youtube.com/user/Dreamtalia Dreamtalia's YouTube]]. There is also a chat that Kyokoon64 would open up for fans to socialize a few hours prior to the premiere of the new episode.

'''Dreamtalia''' is a fangame based on Axis Powers Hetalia, created by the hobbyists fandom personalities Kyokoon64 & Pianodream.

It is planned to be released in video episodes on YouTube and possibly Nico Nico Douga, after the completion of Pianodream's English version of HetaOni (whose final verison came out on Christmas 2012). They plan to release it one chapter or chapter portion a month, though it depends on their schedule.
Despite not being online yet, Dreamtalia has spawned interest from the fans for the apparent uniqueness of its universe, the foreshadowing plot and the already existing popularity of its creators, along with being one of the very rare (if not the only) large APH Fangame project made by westerners. Unlike other japanese-made series like HetaOni, Hetahazard and RomaHeta, the game will be in English. A playable version will be released when the final installment of the video series is out. So far not much info is known yet, but a deviantArt group has been created and features video trailers and WIP artworks and fanarts.

Two special broadcasts of the first episode took place in November and December 2012, allowing the following information to be gathered from the lucky (restricted) audience (note that a lot of this information is rumoured by fans and has yet to be confirmed by the creators or by the release of the series):

"Humans should be careful of what they wish for... because it could come true. But what could go wrong if dreams could come true?"

There are the main lines that can be remembered from the introduction. The main theory on the unfolded plot is that it features a dreamworld or a nightmare that's interfering with the real world, causing unusual terrifying events to happen

From the first episode, one of the first scenes showing Italy (the first keyrole) getting captured by America and England (hiding in nearby bushes) could be seen in the broadcast. Somehow a strange string of events lead Germany, the second keyrole apparently, to meeting the assumed antagonist of the game in a dream, Shadowtalia (see below). The broadcast ends as Germany wakes up from his nightmare and goes to check on Italy sleeping in his own room.

Famous quotes from the game's probable antagonist are: "whAt's wrONg,cAPtaiN?", "Will you play with me?/Wanna play?" and from the group's headline: "Sweet Dreams are Made of This." (reference to the infamous song and probably hint to the still unfolded plot)

<u>Characters</u>

The game mainly features the Axis and Allies, and no details on further characters appearances are known. Italy is appearing to be holding a key-role in the plot.
A possible antagonist for the game has been revealed in early artworks: SHADOWTALIA (also called Shadow Italy), rumoured to be Italy's shadow/dark counterpart or an evil spirit possessing Italy. His appearance is like Italy's, except that his skin is paler and some of his body parts (right hand, portions of back, right foot and arms) are shrouded in flamng shadows. The left half of his face is also shrouded in shadows, leaving only a shining round hole for the left eye, and on his right shadowy hand, he bears long dark nails similar to crow claws. His curl, black as well, can also take shape in more twsted and various positions than Italy's, and his right eye isn't brown like Italy's, but described as "electric glowing blue". His wild smirk reveals pointy teeth. A reference design sheet for him can be found on Pianodream's page. Shadowtalia is currently the most often depicted character in fanarts.

Alongside the two main heads of the project Pianodream and KyoKyo866, the staff of Dreamtalia includes some popular deviantArt APH artists such as Skitzen, Hubedihubbe and PanicIsMyRain.

Fandom
The main spawn of fanarts from Dreamtalia features Shadowtalia and/or Italy, pacing around in a dreamy flower field or surrounded by golden butterflies. The butterflies have been revealed to be important to the game's universe. Shadowtalia in fanarts is often shown smiling or grinning wildly, eyes open like mad, offering a hand in a friendly mannerand looking directly towards the viewer, almost as if inviting them to join him in this unknown universe.
