** The Stage 5 boss might trigger a crash and reset the game.
** The Stage 7 boss will crash into the ground upon defeat. However, its hitbox is still active and despite now being on the ground, flying over those remains ''can'' [[CollisionDamage kill you]].

OneHitPointWonder: The player character is destroyed in one hit. If both players are combined, one landed hit will take both of them out.
* OneManArmyOneManArmy: Similar to many ShootEmUp games, the player(s) do get to mow down a few armies worth of mooks and bosses.
* PlayAsABoss: In the very final level of the game, the player is given an opportunity to pick up a PowerUp that transforms them into the mech on the title screen. Not only is it completely invulnerable, it also makes very short work of the two enemy mechs that come right up. However, it's rather slow and the powerup vanishes right before the FinalBoss is encountered.
