Added DiffLines:

* TokenMotivationalNemesis: The game is kickstarted by a huge golden robot attacking and killing the protagonists' friend. He's chased down at the start of the first stage, starting the events of the game... and is only the second boss of ten.

Added DiffLines:

* BattleBoomerang: Third boss uses two of them while holding them in a BadassArmfold.

Added DiffLines:

* AwesomeButTemporary: The mecha that you get to pilot in the final stage. It's by far the best powerup, making you ''completely damn invincible'', and punch through other mecha enemies like nothing. However, it disappears right before the final boss.

* BigBadassBirdOfPrey: The MiniBoss of stage 4 is a giant robot eagle that can extend its talons to crush you.

* BreatherBoss: Stage 9's boss. Once you get rid of the ArmCannon, his only attack becomes a destructible homing missile attack.

One interesting feature of the game is the ability in CoOpMultiplayer for player 1 to [[CombiningMecha combine]] with player 2, producing a larger ship with better firepower. The game also features loads of homing lasers and large bosses. It was also the first game to feature the astounding graphical designs of JunyaInoue.

Added DiffLines:

* BeamOWar: If you have the [[WaveMotionGun blue weapon]], you can try to counter the second boss' WaveMotionGun with yours. You'll probably lose, though, as he fires ''two'' while you only fire one.

Added DiffLines:

* SegmentedSerpent: You fight one in Stage 8.
