* FleeceTheBudget: Deadpool openly holds High Moon in very low regards, and ignores the budget entirely, using tons of C4 to make massive explosions and the like. This comes back to bite him when the budget gets so low that the game briefly turns into a pastiche of ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaI'' and Deadpool has to wire Peter some of his own money to get the game back up to speed. This doesn't stop him from breaking the budget with more explosions during the credits.

* BoringButPractical: Vertigo's mutant power is the ability to make people dizzy. Deadpool mocks her for it, but he ends up succumbing to her powers before the segment is done.

Due to licensing issues, Marvel messed up the licensing deal, resulting in both this game and ''VideoGame/MarvelVsCapcom3'' being out of commission on digital stores '''[[EpicFail for all of 2 weeks]]''' after its release date. However, Deadpool was eventually put back on Steam and [[http://www.digitalspy.com/gaming/news/a666244/activisions-deadpool-will-be-breaking-the-fourth-wall-on-xbox-one-and-ps4-in-november.html?rss#~pn3IMKsutIvxsx came to Xbox One and PS4 in November 2015]]. The move was ''very likely'' an opportunistic one made by Marvel and the publishers to cash in on the then soon-to-be-released [[Film/Deadpool2016 Deadpool Movie]] which was coming out in feburary of the following year later. The game was, once again, pulled from Steam in November 2017, adding credence to this theory. [[note]]At least they put it on sale for 70% off the week before they pulled it.[[/note]]

Added DiffLines:

* AdaptationalWimp: Deadpool's healing factor is toned way down, mostly because if it was as strong as it is in other media, the game would be much too easy.

** During the first mission, when you hijack the helicopter to use its minigun (if you took the optional route through the boardroom), Deadpool will at one point shout "We've got company behind us! [[Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration Make it so!!]]"

** Deadpool will taunt the player for taking a lot of damage, not using momentum attacks when they're available, using the sai weapons to kill enemies very slowly, running out of ammo, and getting killed.
