** Mr. Sinister is killed by Deadpool dropping a Sentinel foot on him. His comic incarnation's HealingFactor would allow him to walk this off.

** The Maruaders have almost no dialogue, existing as to serve as Mr. Sinister's minions and little else.

** Also, Cable.

to:

** Also, Cable. He's out to save the world and prevent a BadFuture, doing his best to make sure Deadpool actually bothers to do assist in the effort.

** Mr. Sinister's plan is something that puts the entire world in danger, though we never learn what it is.

* TheUnfought: The player never fights the real Mr. Sinister. Vertigo is easily killed by Deadpool in a cutscene. Her clone is at least killed in gameplay.

* WhatKindOfLamePowerIsHeartAnyway: Deadpool taunts Vertigo for having a lame power: the ability to make people dizzy. He quickly regrets it.

Marvel messed up the licensing deal, resulting in both this game and VideoGame/MarvelVsCapcom3 being out of commission on digital stores for all of two months after its release date. However, Deadpool was eventually put back on UsefulNotes/Steam, and also launched on UsefulNotes/XboxOne and UsefulNotes/PS4 in November 2015. The move was very likely an opportunistic one made by Marvel and the publishers to cash in on the then soon-to-be-released Deadpool Movie which was coming out in feburary of the following year later. The game was, once again, pulled from Steam in November 2017, adding credence to this theory. At least they put it on sale for 70% off the week before they pulled it.

** Unsurprisingly, Wolverine's once again voiced by Creator/SteveBlum.
** And on a slightly surprising note, Gwendoline Yeo's back as Domino.

* FleeceTheBudget: Deadpool openly holds High Moon in very low regards, and ignores the budget entirely, using tons of C4 to make massive explosions and the like. This comes back to bite him when the budget gets so low that the game briefly turns into a pastiche of VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaI and Deadpool has to wire Peter some of his own money to get the game back up to speed. This doesn't stop him from breaking the budget with more explosions during the credits.

* BoringButPractical: Vertigo's mutant power is the ability to make people dizzy. Deadpool mocks her for it, but he ends up succumbing to her powers before the segment is done.
