** The three swords you get upon paying back the debts to the bar owner, Muramasa, Laevateinn and Flamberge, have very useful abilities, but the Flamberge stands out thanks to its ability to deal fire damage, which allows Aries' normal attacks to hit multiple times. Furthermore, it's also described as her WeaponOfChoice, further encouraging usage of it.

Then the Kraken's tentacles grab it, and the proper boss fight begins.

** Regarding the Time Attack, normally, the boss has an BattleAura that only dissipates whenever Aries uses her Blaze Arts. Because of how time-consuming that would be, this is not the case in the Time Attack mode.

** Regarding the Time Attack, normally, the boss in their second phase has an BattleAura that only dissipates whenever Aries uses her Blaze Arts. Because of how time-consuming that would be, this is not the case in the Time Attack mode.mode.
** Missed an Event Quest or something needed for HundredPercentCompletion? Later on in Chapter 3, Aries can do a Event Quest which allows her to go back to those places which are normally blocked off after you reached a certain point, albeit with an [=5000G=] fee every time she enters it.

* EarlyGameHell: The first chapter is notorious for being one of the hardest parts of the game, since, for one thing, it's possible for Aries to be defeated by the very first enemy of the game, and it doesn't get better, since the healing point is located at the end of the first dungeon, and you don't get free recovery at the first town until you clear the first boss, which is a lot harder than it sounds since Aries is going to have to conserve healing supplies to avoid getting screwed over. The later parts aren't forgiving either, since they also introduce enemies which hit surprisingly hard and fast. It's only after the first part of the second chapter which involves defeating Belkrad, that things get much easier, owning to the increased revenue sources for Aries, and the fact that she can get Inherited Abilities to strengthen her.

* InfinityPlusOneSword: The Soul Sword Astria, obtained by maxing out Aries' guild rank. Aside from drastically increasing the stun gauge on enemies which allows more time to combo them, it also provides an overall damage increase and immunity to flinching. Even in multiple NewGamePlus playthroughs, it's still decent due to having the best attack power of all the swords.

* NintendoHard: Make no mistake, this is not your average HGame. From the surprisingly hard hitting enemies to the gameplay system, you'd be hard-pressed to find players of the game who admit this was easy.

* CounterAttack: Parrying is one of the commands Aries can do. The window is short, but if an enemy hits her while she's at this state, she'll either proceed to perform an evasive maneuver if they're too far or leap straight at them for an riposte. Some abilities add additional benefits to her counterattacks.

For bosses that are fought in Inferno difficulty, the game instead rewards you the normal amount of G due to the insane HP they have.have, not to mention the provided weapon and armor may not be enough.
** Regarding the Time Attack, normally, the boss has an BattleAura that only dissipates whenever Aries uses her Blaze Arts. Because of how time-consuming that would be, this is not the case in the Time Attack mode.
* AwesomeButImpractical: Some Skills happen to have massive damage potential, but in turn have terrible combo potential, which is important since there exist some boosts for killing an enemy with an high combo:
** Eruption, as it states, causes the ground to erupt in a massive explosion. However, Aries first has to be on the ground, and second, anything that isn't dead can attack Aries since she's vulnerable after attacking for a second.
** Shining Stream is an spin attack. However, much like Eruption, Aries has to be on the ground first, and also, it takes a while to start the combo, largely regulating its use towards multiple enemies, which is rare (since usually, Aries is likely to wail on single enemies first) and dangerous (getting ganged upon is not a good thing since they have attack that can lock Aries into a CycleOfHurting).
** In Time Attack, the Sacred Blaze Extend Drive. The massive attack bonus is very beneficial, but since the mode doesn't allow you to instantly start off with an maxed-out Extend Drive bar, building it up is harder than it sounds, and by the time you have it, the boss is either already dead by the time limit or is nearly dead. It's somewhat more useful against since there exists enough time to build it up, but again, the boss has to be killed from the Blaze Arts or you pretty much forfeit your time limit against them.
* DifficultyByRegion: Blazing Ariess Normal Mode is actually easier in the overseas release in platforms that have it, such as UsefulNotes/Steam and FANZA.
* DifficultyLevels: Do note that the game subverts HardModePerks (unless you count the trophies claimed from clearing the game on harder difficulties). Difficulties include:
** Normal: The game's default setting. Overseas release have it nerfed.
** Matchless: The game's easiest setting. Enemies are weaker, Aries takes less damage and cannot be flinched (an ability only available through the Soul Sword Astria or by inheriting it), the parry window is increased, Extend Drive is easier to accumulate and executing it fully recovers Aries' health, and there is no cooldown regarding food consumption.
** Severe: Enemies are strengthened, with bosses having new attack patterns.
** Inferno: Enemies are at their strongest, healing in battle is disabled, everyone has an higher chance to crit, and it's an instant GameOver if Aries loses an battle.
* FinalExamBoss:
* InfinityMinusOneSword: Several of them. By the time Aries has equipped better swords, she can inherit one of the abilities from these. Notable examples include:
** Durandal, which is obtained by defeating Belkrad. Not only does it have innate Guts, but it also has innate Human Specialize 20% and Pinch Damage 40%, which is useful since the most dangerous bosses Aries can fight are humans, not to mention the Guts protection is useful is nasty situations and the Pinch Damage synergizes well with it.
** Kagura, which is named after its former owner, obtained after , is somewhat less useful due to having a specialization against Disaster enemies (which there is only one in the entire game), but still has decent abilities to compensate. Depending if you obtained the Soul Sword Astria early, it can become an PenultimateWeapon. Oh, and you can't inherit any of the abilities from it.

Aside from drastically increasing the stun gauge on enemies which allows more time to combo them, it also provides an overall damage increase and immunity to flinching. Blazing Aries is an HGame ActionRPG developed by Kuroto Zakka, and published by OTAKU Plan for the overseas release.

Aries is an adventurer, who travels across the world while fighting against the "Calamities" that spread, most notably the curse of the Black Flame. As she ventures further, she discovers her origin and how the "Calamities" came to be...

NOTE: There exists an "family-friendly option" before the game starts in the original version. As such, details will be limited to those unless noted otherwise due to the Administrivia/ContentPolicy and Administrivia/NoLewdnessNoPrudishness policy. Please use only the broadest and most general of references when listing examples that cannot do without taking features from the NSFW version into account.

This page is a massive work-in-progress.

!!Blazing Aries contains examples of:
* AchievementSystem: The Trophies system, which allows additional AP to use in NewGamePlus.
* AdjustableCensorship: The original version of the game had an "family-friendly option", which disabled all of the game's sexual content, but also locked out some trophies relating to it.
* AntiFrustrationFeatures:
** You have the option to disable certain abilities. This doesn't sound useful at first, until you decide do the trophies relating to combos, which means, naturally, some enemies are required to not die in the process.
** For the Time Attack mode, normally, the game would give you half the G rewarded for not beating a boss under a time limit. For bosses that are fought in Inferno difficulty, the game instead rewards you the normal amount of G due to the insane HP they have.
