''Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival'' is a 2015 PartyGame developed by Creator/NDCube released exclusively for the UsefulNotes/WiiU. It is a spin-off of the ''Franchise/AnimalCrossing'' series that heavily focuses on the series' respective line of Toys/{{amiibo}} figures. Every copy of the game is bundled with at least one amiibo figure, as they are required to play the main board game mode.

In the board game, each player takes turns going through the board based on the main town from the games, which has different selectable variations based on the months of the year. Most spaces have events that, based on the outcome, can earn players Happy Points. There is also a Turnip system that mirrors the one found in the main games, where certain turns make all the board spaces have Turnip values to purchase that go up and down in value based on the next space one lands. However, if you get lucky, these can result in more Bells to your total. Both Happy Points and Bells can be gained or lost through Tarot Cards you obtain. These values fluctuate throughout the game until its end, when one lucky animal tops them all.

There also exists eight mini-games that utilize the amiibo cards based on the characters. Of these, the most known is ''Desert Island Escape'', a game where a villager is trapped on a deserted island and must strategize on hexagonal spaces to obtain the materials to construct a raft. This game was ported to ''VideoGame/AnimalCrossingNewLeaf'' as part of the ''Welcome amiibo'' update, obtainable if the player gets a Wii U console as furniture.

!! ''Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival'' contains examples of:
* EndGameResultsScreen: At the end of a board game session, pressing the X button brings up a results screen that shows how many Happy Points you got throughout the game, as well as the total spaces you walked over, how many pink or purple spaces you walked over, how many Bells you earned selling turnips, and the cumulative number of Happy Points and Bells you gained or lost in Tarot Cards (which can go into the negatives if you were quite unlucky).
* OldSaveBonus: The game allows you to import villager houses from ''Happy Home Designer''.
* PopQuiz: One mini-game is a pop quiz about the series itself; for example, it'll ask you to identify a villager based on their catchphrase or appearance.
* WormInAnApple: One of the outcomes that can happen if you land on a space where you lose both Happy Points and Bells is you and your friends picking apples, only to find that all of the apples have worms in them, and having to pay to recycle the spoiled apples.
