* FloatingContinent: The Flying Gardens of the Qji are a classic take on this. However, the game does tackle some of the more realistic problems that would occur with this trope.
** When a death occurs up there, the body has to be flown down to the mainland in order to bury it.
** The population is strictly controlled due to lack of space. This means that many of the Qji are forced to live on the surface, and struggle with poverty and prejudice while living in an unknown land.
** While it's very peaceful, there's really not much to do up there. It's implied that the current population has been dwindling for several years because many of the Qji are beginning to realise this, want more opportunities for themselves, and leave the Gardens as a result.

* KleptomaniacHero: Irzyka can steal from almost every building in almost every given city or town. Naturally, doing so will most certainly have a negative effect on her reputation. [[StealthBasedMission If she's caught.]] Your success in thieving can be affected by whether you steal during day or night. There's also the fact that certain party members will object if you rob tombs or loot graves.
