While it's understandable they don't want to evacuate their town to make room for a new Great Lake, their concern is that it's their town that is to be flooded and persuade Joyce Crandall to flood another town. Joyce's boss seeing it on television and firing her on the spot is the only reason she doesn't go and flood another town.

I seriously doubt that they literally wanted another town to be flooded instead of theirs. It's likely they thought that Joyce would end up scrapping the whole project because she couldn't flood the other towns because of the tourist attractions they had.

Cleanup thread determined that Lily, while fairly smart for her age, is still too young to be held accountable for that.

* "Appetite For Destruction":
** Lily is hit with this big time. We're supposed to feel bad for her, due to the reveal that she's been constipated the whole time, explaining why she was aggressive. However, given that Lily tried to bite her mom's finger, trashed her siblings' rooms, duct taped her teacher to the wall, beat up a kid, and threw a chair at her parents, she ends up coming off as a monstrous brat [[KarmaHoudini who gets away with her heinous behavior]].
** Lynn Sr. and Rita could also count as well. We're supposed to feel sorry for them, having to deal with Lily's aggressive attitude. However, they never do anything to punish her, even when Lily crosses the line at physically attacking an innocent kid. Even in the ending, [[AdultsAreUseless they allow Lily to get away with all of her nasty actions]], [[PushoverParents making both Lynn Sr and Rita come off as infuriatingly spineless.]] Rita even more so, due to her [[ParentalFavoritism claiming that Lily alone "is supposed to be the sweet one."]]

It isn't having their town destroyed and becoming homeless that's unsympathetic. It's potentially allowing it to happen to another town. Did you miss the part where they tried to convince her to demolish another town?

Why would not wanting their town to be destroyed and be left homeless be unsympathetic?

* Girl Jordan can come across as this in "Frame On You". She frames Rusty for launching a stink bomb at the students, [[DisproportionateRetribution just because Rusty accidentally caused her to fail her baking assignment]]. This makes her come off as a petty jerk, who gives Rusty much harshness out of spite. It doesn't help that when she gets caught as the true culprit, she rather angrily tries to play innocent, before giving in, when Lincoln and the others don't buy her excuse, Making it look like she's more sorry she got caught. Yet, she's EasilyForgiven at the end, despite doing nothing to justify being let off the hook.

* Alfredo the Ghost Chicken from "Bad Cluck". While what Sergio did to him when they were in flight school was certainly not cool (along with Sergio trying weasel out of righting the wrongs he did to his old roommate), it's kind of hard to feel sorry for Alfredo when he haunts the Casagrandes instead of focusing on just Sergio. There's also how the main thing Alfredo wants back is the sunglasses that Sergio stole from him, especially since it turns out that Alfredo can communicate (via possessing someone, which Alfredo ultimately does to Carlos).

** Lincoln intentionally breaks Lori's golf club to convince her that he is bad luck. In fact, this is the only time he REALLY harms anyone in the episode. No doubt he deserves punishment for this (albeit not something as drastic as being kicked out of the house).
** As Lincoln enjoys his freedom for the first time, he lies down in his underwear on top of Lola's tea table. Add the fact that Lola HATE to see him in his underwear! Did he really need to "spit" in his sister's face like that?

* Pretty much every Loud who isn't Lincoln in "The Taunting Hour". Any sympathy for their plight gets thrown out the window when they scapegoat Lincoln for causing them to have panic attacks, even going so far as to [[KickTheDog call him a life-ruiner]]. This is especially when you consider the fact that Lincoln has a thick enough skin to remain composed in the face of harsh criticism, whereas the slightest bit of criticism is enough to make the rest of his family all have complete and total meltdowns.

* ''Every character'' in "The Green House":
** Mrs. Johnson and Lincoln's class for chastising his family's energy usage being in the red zone, even when they know he has ten sisters. This case is especially jarring, since Mrs. Johnson is supposed to be a reasonable, understanding and motherly kind of teacher.
** The Loud house is in the red zone due to the girls wasting energy, usually for frivolous purposes. Especially since they could easily find alternate ways for said purposes.
** Clyde for not helping Lincoln and making the latter's situation worse by mentioning their computer game tournament.
** Furthermore, two male classmates decide to join in on the tournament at Lincoln's house because they're in the green, effectively saving energy at their own homes just to waste someone else's. They then proceed to tell Lincoln they can't be seen with him when the girls resume their old energy wasting ways and receive no punishment for their selfishness.
** Lincoln for not having the guts to kick the other boys out of his house.
