Hallo Tropers.

I am a male Australian who enjoys all types of media, from fanfiction to advertising. I am far too lazy to list tropes that I represent or have contributed on (very little). Mostly a lurker here on TV Tropes, but I have become a troper by virtue of all the time I spend here. My favourite shows/books/stories/movies/etc. are legion, but suffice to say they all rock. Many of my edits come from the Fan Fic Recs pages (a couple), which is what I do with all of my spare time. I prefer the Naruto fandom perhaps because of the many and varied options therein, with it's massive cast and a functional, explainable magic system (chakra, jutsu etc.) and the possibility for so many different types of fics (evidenced by the large recs page.)
Pet Peeve: fic summaries with too many repeats of What If. eg. What if Naruto ran away? What if the Tsuchikage picked him up? what if he has to face the team he never had? what if...etc. while the fic may be good, its ruined by an uncreative and irritating summary such as that.
Pet Peeve: people who copy and paste slogans in profiles and websites eg. 95% of people try to fit in. Copy and paste this if you are one of the 5% of people who dont. I dont care about your efforts to fit in with a smaller crowd after attempts to fit into the bigger on have failed. its irritating and a space-filler. just...dont.
So yeah, more soon.

Edit, it is soon, so there is more.
So reading back on the introduction its not very personable. Ill leave it as a monument to teenage mood swings. So, Hi, I'm Rin Simyaldee and I'm a troper. Previously I watched movies and tv, read books and manga, played video and card games - and while doing so, laughed at many small trends and ironies I'd seen. TVtropes gave a name and a voice to my private views. Now, instead of saying 'Oh, another ridiculously complicated plot where the villain seems to know everything and (bla bla bla continues on)' I just say, 'Oh, Xanatos Gambit'. And I've expanded my knowledge base, which is cool.

I like just about every type of media, and they are all cool. Except radio. We don't talk anymore. So, thanks for reading, and have a mediocre day!
