To Omega Kross, the only thing better than a story where TheBadGuyWins is a story where [[KillEmAll everyone dies]], especially if [[ShootTheShaggyDog the efforts of all involved are rendered utterly meaningless.]] Unsurprisingly, after recently watching all of {{Gilgamesh}}, it is his third favourite anime. But {{Texhnolyze}} is still the undisputed king of shooting the shaggy dog in the face.

Despite it seeming as if he has simply chosen the most depressing, angsty tropes on purpose, this is neither a transparent attempt to be edgy, nor is he trolling. Omega Kross really does think this way. To illustrate, imagine a guy with a terminal disease reads a comic in which [[ReedRichardsIsUseless Reed Richards cures every disease in the world]] and everybody gets up from their hospital beds and sings Shiny Happy People, and this is presented dead seriously. That is exactly how insulted Omega Kross feels whenever TheGoodGuysAlwaysWin or somebody beats the world ending tyrant with ThePowerOfFriendship. Because that isn't how the world works and simply stating that 'Good will always triumph over Evil' is horribly insulting when, in the real world, the assholes tend to win.

That and evil characters are simply more interesting.

* FanDisillusionment: Considers {{Bleach}} dead after the Deicide arc ended, mostly because of the main story that the franchise was built on is now over, but also because of all the {{AssPull}}s, ridiculous {{ShonenUpgrade}}s, VillainDecay, [[NobodyCanDie never having a single good guy die]], multiple Ressurections of the main character, and because Kubo is now blatantly milking his cash cow franchise by ending his show and then carrying on writing the nonsense Fullbringer arc anyway. Also, Aizen was his favourite character and he wanted to see an even fight, not 'Ichigo becomes the embodiment of DeusExMachina and curbstomps a freaking Deity'.
