Well, hello there.

I'm MisterBibs. My last name isn't Bibs, but Bibs is what people started calling me. It's better than the [[EmbarrassingNickname nickname of Scumbag]] that has a long, boring, stupid origin. [[labelnote:Of course, if you're curious...]] Many years ago, I played MagicTheGathering a lot with friends. I would have a habit of, when I realized I would lose, would quit (or "scoop") quickly. First, they would say "Stop scooping, Chris!", which became "Stop scooping, you scumbag!" to "Stop scooping, Scumbag!. It was determined that I would be called Scumbag until I stopped scooping. Cut to a few years later, when the [[SuperHeroOrigin origin of me being called Scumbag]] was [[LostForever almost completely forgotten by everyone, myself included.]] Needless to say, I'm still Scumbag with my formerly MTG friends, but Bibs otherwise. I wanred you it was long, boring, and stupid, didn't I?[[/labelnote]]

I tend to edit whatever I feel like editing. I tend to WikiWalk a lot. Usually, it's whatever I'm focusing on at the time. If I'm in a {{Bioshock}} mood, I'm editing that. If I'm in a GreenLantern vibe, I'm editing that. Its funny[[note] Not really.[[/note]], I usually see TVTropes as an extension of whatever I'm currently into. This has benefits, because [[{{Wallbanger}} oftentimes I want to immerse myself in something, but don't actually don't want to play right now.]]

I tend to be a bit negative, and a decent percentage of my Trope Additions are usually in that vein. Interestingly, I'm not [[ComplainingAboutShowsYouDontLike Complaining About Shows I Don't Like]], but rather ComplainingAboutThingsIDontLikeInShowsILike. TropesAreNotBad, but Tropes can be done poorly.

I tend to get [[PapaWolf protective]] about my edits and additions. [[BerserkButton It ticks me off]] if they are purged casually. I only add something if I [[SincerityMode genuinely believe]] it.

I'm a nerd, but I'm fully aware that nerds (in general, and ''especially'' on the Internet) can usually be [[FanDumb really really stupid.]]. I'm the guy pointing out what the average, everyday person thinks about the subject, not what people online say. Best Game Ever? No, sorry, '''nobody bought the thing, and nobody remembers it'''. I [[GenreSavvy understand that my passions aren't well known]], so I don't treat them as well known.

In many ways, I'm the LowestCommonDenominator in many of my [[PlanetOfHats hats]]. I'm a gamer that likes ElectronicArts games like TheSims or Spore. I liked Diablo more than PlanescapeTorment. I thought SupremeCommander ''bit'', because the lead guy's name means nothing to me.

My Great Big Ultimate Project is to do an article for my favorite radio call-in show, BoersandBernstein.

!Favorite Tropes

I have a selection of Favorite Tropes. You know, ones that I see in my daily life a lot. Here are a few:

* ItsPopularNowItSucks: I always called this the INAE, or '''I'''verse '''N'''erd '''A'''ppreciation '''E'''ffect.
* MisaimedFandom: I like when someone makes something to think Idea A, but a decent percentage of people think Idea B from it.
* SequelDisplacement: Especially concerning SpiritualSequels. I ''love'' when a game series like SystemShock or Fallout comes back as {{Bioshock}} or '''Fallout 3''' and does ''very'' well.

I also tend to start things, and wander off. Low attention span, I suppose. For example, I'm done writing this right now, but I'll be back later, to add more.
