''No serial killer jokes, please!''

''If I had to choose between creativity and intelligence, I'd take the first one. I feel it's a part of me. Besides, if I was stupid enough, I wouldn't care about going to jail because of graffiti vandalism.'' -My response to a teacher's question on a psychology lesson.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've been called a creative, developing artist, a funny guy in disguise, a great guy to know, a gentleman, a knight, a great consoler, a provider of different points of view, outrageously shocking, a jerk and the Devil in disguise.

Let me introduce myself.

Jeffrey from Southern Finland, a fledgling philosopher, psychologist, writer and artist.

Philosophically I believe that: 1)Individuals, though highly dependent on communities, are more or less free to shape their own style. 2)Causality is equal parts free will and determinism('everything happens like it's supposed to'). Genuine chances are also far more plausible than fate. Sometimes, however, I ponder if a concept of fate could really exist. 3)We receive information through our senses and perceptions, then make sense of it rationally. Kant's synthesis. 4)Often to see evidence is to believe. 5)Pleasure is important, despite all the fucked-up things in the world.

If someone craves for a small philosophical challenge, I'd like to sharpen my claws as well. Feel free to private message me. Mind you, however, that's just one thing I like and I don't demand it of others at all.

---------------------------------------------------

My favorite fictional characters:

* Jon Snow, Tyrion Lannister, god knows how many from Song of Ice and Fire
** Daenerys Targaryen, Arya Stark, Samwell Tarly, Sandor Clegane, ser Jorah Mormont, Oberyn Martell, Barristan Selmy and Jaime Lannister are great characters, too.
* Keiichi Maebara from Higurashi
** The rest of Keiichi's friends too, but I identify the most with Keiichi.
* Guts from Berserk
* L from Death Note
* Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes (''I haven't actually played the game myself. I bought it for my friend J. as a birthday present and watched while he was playing it with glee. Kind of fell in love on the spot. With Travis, not J.!'')
* Auron from Final Fantasy X
* Kratos from God of War(''Just listen to Zeus' Wrath Divine!'')
* Wolverine
* Han Solo from Star Wars
* Dirty Harry
** For that matter, The Man with No Name....
* Roland Deschain from Stephen King's Dark Tower -series
* Superman
* Batman
* The Incredible Hulk
* Shrek
* Donkey Kong
* Wikus van der Merwe from District 9 (despite being petty and racistic in the beginning)
* *You're going to be surprised...* The Annoying Orange!

---------------------------------------------------

Some trivia:
* I often like to hold a presentation, a speech or a play in front of a whole class when given an opportunity.
* Surprisingly, my imagination goes high during boring, draining lections. At least there are opportunies for inspiration!
* For me every day, good or bad, oddly feels like it would last forever. Hours just keep stretching.
* I played the piano for four years. No, I'm definitely not Mozart, but a fun hobby nonetheless.

If someone craves for a small philosophical challenge, I'd like to sharpen my claws as well. Fell free to private message me. If you don't care for philosophizing, that's also perfectly fine with me. This kind of thinking can bring up interesting possibilites, but too much of anything is bad.

Let me introduce myself

Jeffrey from Southern Finland, a fledgling philosopher, psychologist, writer and artist. 'Jeffrey' is slightly modified from my real name, which begins with the same letter. I'm a student in high school for a second year, anxiously looking forward to matriculation examination and feverishly thinking where to continue my studies.

Very often here on TV Tropes, to my own astonishment, I find myself offering insights as some kind of a 'helper'. No intention to be a shoulder to cry on just for anyone, though. That special luxury you have to earn....

artist.

As for less 'sophisticated' interests(Shock! I have those?!), I've recently taken interest in Warhammer 40k. I'm open to recommendations. Reading an anthology of Ciaphas Cain's first three adventures(For the Empire, Caves of Ice and The Traitor's Hand) and planning to buy Dawn of War 2.

Would also like to talk to other Berserk -fans.
