Found randomly after an ArchiveBinge on OnePiece, it led me to discover wonderful WebComics. These include HomeStuck, QuestionableContent, XKCD, GirlGenius, GunnerkriggCourt, TheAdventuresofDrMcNinja, PennyArcade, DanAndMabsFurryAdventures, and TheOrderoftheStick. I also love ThatGuyWithTheGlasses, specifically TheNostalgiaCritic, AtopTheFourthWall, TheNostalgiaChick, and ToddInTheShadows.

I have been BrilliantButLazy, and quickly becoming a LiteralMetaphor of TvTropesWillRuinYourLife. Obsessing over this site and the stories it tabs over seeking employment and writing my own works is one of [[GoodNewsBadNews my best and worst choices to date.]]

I am a fan of TV Tropes. I found it randomly after Archive Binging on One Piece, and it led me to discover wonderful WebComics like HomeStuck, QuestionableContent, Xkcd, GirlGenius, GunnerkriggCourt, DrMcNinja, PennyArcade, DMFA, OrderOfTheStick, and TinyKittenTeeth. I also love NewGrounds and ThatGuyWithTheGlasses, specifically TheNostalgiaCritic, Linkara, TheNostalgiaChick, and ToddInTheShadows.

About myself, for a long time, I’ve been BrilliantButLazy, and lacking motivation to do the right thing when I know better. I state that this “will be my first and last update” is fear I’m becoming a literal example of TvTropesWillRuinYourLife. I obsess over this site and my favorite web comics to the point where I am neglecting looking for employment or working on my own stories comparing to theorizing how other stories will progress.

Worst of all, without practicing writing, I’ve become a victim of run-on sentences.

I dream of becoming a published writer. That will never happen if I keep acting weak-willed and keep obsessing about this site. I state here and now, for one half-year, I am going to stay away from logging in here at TVTropes, viewing my favorite Webcomics, or playing any games or movies at NewGrounds.

I state this specifically here as a social check and balance. If I do well, this should be the last update until the start of October. You can check the page editing history to see if I keep my word on this. As for NewGrounds and WebComics, this is more publicly stating a personal challenge and promising to stay away until October as well.

One thing to note if there are people capable of tracking my ISP and curious enough to check-I’ve favorited some of the more encouraging comics from each WebComics site to cheer me up on depressing days. Also, when outlining my stories, I’ve noted certain things to ShoutOut like a NewGrounds game or a certain line from a WebComic. My goal’s not to read any more of the plots advancing in WebComics or waste time watching flash movies and playing flash games on NewGrounds. So, if I seem guilty of breaking this keep-away, I’m either encouraging myself with a positive comic or looking up something from an internet work to ShoutOut in my own stories.

To YOU, its part of your creative process; to ME, its an overdue cut-off to get myself together and attempt making my dreams come true before I lose my property and family.
