HMeyer is a troper in her early twenties who resides in NZ, does stories for fun, and generally is a fan of TV Tropes. One of her stories even has a ShoutOut to TV tropes. She also has some unusual interests, especially in freak-show performers (particularly in the UK), and has a very fond place in her heart for the Victorian Era.
She currently is in her final year of her bachelor's degree in history, and plans on doing a postgrad the following year in early childhood education. I could do another bachelor in Early Childhood, but I [[NoJustNo do not plan on being at uni for all my twenties!]]
Fun Fact: Ever since reading the "Crowning moment of Heartwarming" page, she can *never* see anything heartwarming without thinking (or writing, if in an email) "Now, there's a CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming!"
Said Troper is also a member of the Friends of Joseph Carey Merrick foundation, which is an organisation (based in Britain) that supports people with disablities and deformities (especially Proteus Syndrome and Neurofibromatosis Type 1, the combination Joseph is believed to have), and also spreads Joseph's story as well. We're all a nice, pleasant bunch, but if you offend us by making a snide remark about disabled/deformed people (especially Joseph), then you'll be up against a deadly combination: BerserkButton and MamaBear (or PapaWolf as some are male).
A sample of Tropes that fit her:
*BewareTheNiceOnes: Trust me, I'm very frequently quiet, shy and I guess conversationally awkward, but get me riled up enough and look out.
*MamaBear: If you're going to abuse a/your kid, abandon a/your child, etc, don't do it in front of this troper. Trust me.
*BlindWithoutEm: Though I can navigate fine without glasses (unless it's outside where there's cars and so on), I'm as good as blind when it comes to reading print unless it's gigantic.
