I enjoy editing to fix mistakes from time to time, as well as add examples to tropes I know, or vice versa. I've even occasionally created a trope or work page! Not anything huge, but it's something.

I don't know what to put here.

I don't know what
something. Occasionally prone to put here.repeatedly editing a page because I got cocky and didn't bother to preview before saving. I also love cats.

Before you ask about my username. It was from randomly typing on the keyboard... well, someone else randomly typed it on their keyboard for their username, and I stole it from them. Yeah... dick move in hindsight, but I'm stuck with it now. I do have a different, more original username on Steam, so hopefully I'll be able to gradually phase this one out.

I guess I'll list some stuff I like here? Wouldn't want to forget.

* Most of the MCU.
* Franchise/StarWars. Who doesn't like Lightsabers? I'm mostly okay with the prequels too, besides Jar-Jar. Not a big fan of the sequels so far.
* Pretty much all things . Even the 1998 version. I especially enjoy the particularly cheesy ones like King Kong VS Godzilla (The original, the new one isn't out as of this writing, but I can't wait to see it).
* Film/MenInBlack, all three.
* Film/IndependenceDay. I don't care what the WebVideo/NostalgiaCritic says on this one, It's cheesy but wonderfully over the top Eagleland patriotic action. The second one, Sequelitis ...not so much.
* The Film/SpiderManTrilogy. My introduction to Superhero superheroes besides PopCulturalOsmosis, and still my favorite version of Spider-Man. I even love 3, and not in a SoBadItsGood way.
* Film/BackToTheFuture, the definitive TimeTravel movie in my opinion.
* . My favorite over the top cheesy monster movie. Though the later movies got too goofy even for me.

* All the Franchise/StarTrek series. Have yet to see Series/StarTrekDiscovery or Series/StarTrekPicard.
* Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000.

Gonna be working on this one for a long time. I've played so many great video games over the years that I can't remember them all.
* I've probably put more hours into VideoGame/TeamFortress2 than any other game I've ever played. I really love the game, though the community often annoys me.
* VideoGame/Left4Dead2. I love the campaign mode, but I almost never touch versus. Too much pressure for my tastes.
* VideoGame/Minecraft is definitely one of the next most played games... maybe even first. I'm not sure. In any case, I still enjoy it to this day, although I don't feel the updates have gone in a direction I'd like for some time now. I guess that's the downside of the always updating model of video games.
* VideoGame/Terraria is somewhat like Minecraft, but the bosses are more fun, there's more weapons, and items, less generic NPCs, and more enemies! Pretty much superior to Minecraft except in multiplayer and building creativity, both being hampered by a small, finite, 2D world.
* VideoGame/Starbound. It's Terraria InSpace! And with more of a story.
* VideoGame/RollerCoasterTycoon, the first three at least. One of my first "real" games. Well, one of the early ones anyway. I'll be honest, it's all kind of a blur, and I couldn't really tell you whether I got it, Sim City 3000, Zoo Tycoon, or Age of Empires II first. Speaking of...
* VideoGame/ZooTycoon: I played both 1 and 2, but the FirstInstallmentWins here. Any others except DS shall not be mentioned.
* VideoGame/SimCity: I played a bit of 2, but my main experience was with 3000 and 4.
* VideoGame/AgeOfEmpires: Wasn't around for the original, and couldn't get into the third, but I played the hell out of II. Of course, I was young enough my parents didn't want me playing online, so when I eventually did try I realized my skills were woefully inadequate. I still can't match up against most online players today, but a bot match is fun as ever.
* VideoGame/RiseOfNations: In my opinion, the pinnacle of RTS. It's like Age of Empires 2 with tech going up to the modern day, and more game mechanics like territory and attrition.
* VideoGame/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim and VideoGame/Fallout. I've only played Skyrim for Elder Scrolls and 3, New Vegas and 4 for Fallout, but I plan to try the older games when I have the time.
* VideoGame/TheIncredibleMachine: I'm pretty sure this is one of the first games I played on PC. Had a lot of fun just screwing around with the various parts
* VideoGame/CrashTeamRacing: I had this well before any of the Mario Kart games, so it was my introduction to the kart racing genre. And damn, it's a good one. Boss races, diverse maps, great shortcuts, fun items. It was also one of the first games I remember where I could beat my family and friends consistently! Granted, having hours of practice and them having barely played a video game before helped a lot... but still!

* WebVideo/Ashens has a great British-style sense of humor, and what could be more entertaining than watching someone review a ShoddyKnockOffProduct or food months out of date? ...Don't answer that.
* WebVideo/BillWurtz: Funny videos, good music.
* WebVideo/BreakingTrail: Anyone brave enough to intentionally get bitten by a snapping turtle has my respect.
* WebVideo/Cinemassacre: I guess I have a weakness for excessive swearing and vulgarity. But beyond that, his reviews are actually pretty good, and have only improved over time in my opinion.
* WebVideo/Jerma985 is one of those channels I can always find entertaining, even if I don't care about the what he's playing. Maybe it's the ContagiousLaughter?
* WebVideo/NostalgiaCritic: I enjoy his reviews, from the very early stuff to the more sketch oriented ones that some fans disliked. His out of character reviews are pretty good as well.
* WebVideo/Vinesauce: Vinny and Joel are reliably entertaining, and seem to be pretty good people with all the charity streams.
* The WebVideo/Vsauce channels make videos I always find worth the watch. Though sadly, I think Kevin and Jake might be overtaking Michael for me, if only because he's focusing on his Youtube RED show so much.

Who am I? You sure you want to know? The story of my life is not for the faint of heart. I often use TV Tropes for reference on reddit. Well, here's a page about me. I often use TV Tropes for reference on reddit. I also enjoy editing to fix mistakes from time to time, as well as add examples to tropes I know, or vice versa. I've even occasionally created a trope or work page! Not for anything big, just obscure pages of dubious quality. Before you ask about my username. It was randomly typed on the keyboard... well, someone else randomly typed it on their keyboard for their username, and I stole it from them. Yeah... total dick move in hindsight, but I've become attached to it now. I do have a different, more original username on Steam, so hopefully I'll be able to gradually phase this one out and let the guy have it, if he's still out there.

I guess I'll list the stuff I like here? Yeah, let's do that.

Hi, Michael! Did I get your name right? That'd be hilarious. Anyway, about me. I often use TV Tropes for reference on reddit. I also enjoy editing to fix mistakes from time to time, as well as add examples to tropes I know, or vice versa. I've even occasionally created a work page! Not for anything you know, just obscure android games of dubious quality. Before you ask about my username. It was randomly typed on the keyboard... well, someone else randomly typed it on their keyboard for their username, and I stole it from them. Yeah... dick move in hindsight, but I've become attached to it now. I do have a different, more original username on Steam, so hopefully I'll be able to gradually phase this one out and let the guy have it, if he's still out there.

I guess I'll list the junk I like here? Yeah, ok.

Hi, Michael! Did I get your name right? That'd be hilarious. Anyway, Well, here's a page about me. I often use TV Tropes for reference on reddit. I also enjoy editing to fix mistakes from time to time, as well as add examples to tropes I know, or vice versa. I've even occasionally created a trope or work page! Not for anything you know, big, just obscure android games pages of dubious quality.

I guess I'll list the junk stuff I like here? Yeah, ok.
let's do that.

* Franchise/StarWars. Who doesn't? Though I'm a bit out of the norm in being mostly okay with the prequels besides Jar Jar, and finding the new Disney sequels to be too much of a HappyEndingOverride.
* Pretty much all things . Even the 1998 version Bonus points for King Kong VS Godzilla (The original, the new one isn't out as of this writing).

* Pretty much all things . Even the 1998 version Bonus points for version]]. I especially enjoy the particularly cheesy ones like King Kong VS Godzilla (The original, the new one isn't out as of this writing).

* Film/IndependenceDay. I don't care what the WebVideo/NostalgiaCritic says on this one, It's cheesy but awesome Eagleland patriotic action. The second one, Sequelitis eh...
* The Film/SpiderManTrilogy. One of, if not my first introduction to Superhero superheroes besides PopCulturalOsmosis. It's one of those movies I watched all the time as a kid, to the point I at one point had all the dialogue memorized. I didn't have internet access yet, okay?

* I've probably put more hours into VideoGame/TeamFortress2 than any other game I've ever played. I'm too embarrassed to say exactly how many.
* VideoGame/Left4Dead2. I love the campaign mode, but I almost never touch versus. Too much pressure for my tastes.
* VideoGame/Minecraft is probably one of the next most played... or maybe even first. I'm not sure. In any case, I still enjoy it to this day, although I don't feel the updates have gone in a direction I'd like for some time now. The downside of this new always updating model of video games.
* is like Minecraft, but the bosses are fun, and there's more weapons, and blocks, and less generic npcs, and more enemies! This has pretty much replaced Minecraft for me except in multiplayer, which doesn't work well in a small, finite, 2D world.
* VideoGame/Starbound. It's Terraria InSpace! And with more of a story.
* VideoGame/RollerCoasterTycoon, the first three at least. One of my first "real" PC games, after years of Pajama Sam and the like. Well, sometime early anyway.
* VideoGame/SimCity: Everything until societies, but my main experience was with 3000 and 4.
* VideoGame/AgeOfEmpires: Wasn't around for the original, and couldn't get into the third, but I played the hell out of II. Of course, I was young enough my parents didn't want me playing online, so when I eventually did try I realized my skills were woefully inadequate. I still can't match up today, but a bot match is fun as ever.
* VideoGame/RiseOfNations: In my opinion, the greatest RTS ever released. It's like age of empires 2 with tech going up to the modern day, and new mechanics like territory and attrition.
* : The most patriotism I've ever seen AND fun StuffBlowingUp gameplay? Sign me up!
* VideoGame/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim and VideoGame/Fallout. Nothing but Skyrim for elder scrolls and just 3, New Vegas and 4 for Fallout, but I plan to try the older games at some point as well.
* VideoGame/TheIncredibleMachine: I'm pretty sure this is one of the first games I played, around the same time as Pajama Sam and The Oregon Trail.
* VideoGame/CrashTeamRacing: I had this well before any of the mario kart games, so it was my introduction to the kart racing genre. And damn, it's great. Boss races, diverse maps, great shortcuts, fun items. It was also one of the first games I remember where I could beat my parents and friends consistently! Granted, having hours of practice and them having never played before helped a lot... but still!

The only thing you need to know is I'm a 20-ish guy that likes cats. If you mess with my cat, I might kill you. Oh, and I'm extremely Eagleland patriotic, which is only partly satirical. One last thing, before you ask about my username. It was randomly typed on the keyboard... well, someone else randomly typed it on their keyboard, and I stole their username. Yeah... dick move in hindsight, but I've become attached to it now. I do have a different, more original username on Steam, so hopefully I'll be able to gradually phase this one out and let the guy have it, if he's still out there.

Gonna be working on this one for a long time. I've played so many great video games over the years I want to mention.
* I've probably put more hours into VideoGame/TeamFortress2 than any other game I've ever played. I'm too embarrassed to say exactly how many.
* VideoGame/Minecraft is probably one of the next most played... or maybe even first. I'm not sure. In any case, I still enjoy it, although I don't feel the updates tend to be going the way I'd like anymore.
* VideoGame/Terraria is like Minecraft, but the bosses are fun, and there's more weapons, and blocks, and less generic npcs, and more enemies! This has pretty much replaced Minecraft for me except in multiplayer, which doesn't work well in a small, finite, 2D world.
* VideoGame/Starbound. It's Terraria InSpace! With some other changes, but that's most of it. Moving on.
* VideoGame/RollerCoasterTycoon, the first three at least. One of my first "real" PC games, after years of Pajama Sam and the like. Well, sometime early anyway.
* : The most patriotism I've ever seen AND fun BlowingStuffUp gameplay?
And damn, I loved it. Boss races, cool maps, great shortcuts, fun items. It was also one of the first games I remember where I could beat my parents and friends consistently! Granted, having hours of practice and them having never played before helped a lot... but still!

* Film/TheThreeStooges. I love these guys. They practically perfected Slapstick!
* . My favorite over the top cheesy monster movie. I even liked Sequelitis the fifth one!
* Film/WhoFramedRogerRabbit is probably at least partly responsible for me first learning of things like tropes, especially PlayingWithATrope.

* WesternAnimation/TheIronGiant is another film I grew up with, and it still holds up to this day.

* , the show that invented and perfected the modern sitcom.
* Series/TheWalkingDead. It's much darker than I usually prefer, and sadly often too predictable, but dammit, they've just hooked me somehow, despite the fact I know nothing will get better for long.
* Series/HowItsMade. Educational, and less cringeworthy than most such shows, and just fulfills my curiosity well. Same goes for
* Series/ModernMarvels.
* All the Franchise/StarTrek series. Except maybe Enterprise? Still on the fence with it, and we'll have to see how Discovery does.
* Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000, every version.

Well, that's a start. Expect me to keep editing this page, for a day or two it will be adding the things I really love, and then it will stabilize and I'll add whatever I'm hyped about at the moment.

* Anything in the MCU.
* Franchise/StarWars. Who doesn't?
* Pretty much all things Franchise/Godzilla. Even the 1998 version Bonus points for King Kong VS Godzilla (The original, the new one isn't out as of this writing).
* Film/MenInBlack, all three.
* Film/IndependenceDay. I don't care what the WebVideo/NostalgiaCritic says on this one, It's cheesy but awesome Eagleland patriotic action. The second one, Sequelitis eh...
* The Film/SpiderManTrilogy. One of, and perhaps my first introductions to Superhero superheroes besides PopCulturalOsmosis. It's one of those movies I watched all the time as a kid, to the point I at one point had all the dialogue memorized.
* Film/BackToTheFuture, the definitive TimeTravel movie for me.
