I'm more active on the forum side of things, but I also work on pages of works I like, crosswicking included; I also try to do small maintenance things, like alphabetizing examples, once in a blue moon.
Currently playing through VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBlazingBlade. Planning to start either VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBindingBlade or VideoGame/FinalFantasyTactics after.

Hello! Not sure why you're reading this, but I assume you've interacted with me on this site at least once. In that case, I'll just let you have a look at some of this. ''Currently in progress.''
[[folder:Works I Enjoy]]
* VideoGame/LiveALive - A real pioneer in the genre, with an interesting battle system and excellent plot. The pop-culture references are subtle enough to not detract from your enjoyment, and the characters are excellent - even the ones that don't talk! There are some irritating sections, but still overall a great experience that I would highly recommend, especially since a Nintendo Switch remake is out.
* {{Theatre/Assassins}} - Mesmerizingly weird. You get sucked into the rabbit hole of KFC and the work conditions of a bottle factory until it slaps you in the face and tells you to wake up, but it's not rude or anything. The camp helps. It is very BlackComedy and is definitely not for everyone, but I had fun with it.
* {{Series/Community}} - Has an extremely oddball and surreal sense of humor, which I love. Some of the plotlines fall flat when examined too closely and RuleOfFunny is put aside, but overall an excellent show that is surprisingly poignant and deep when it wants to be. (Except Season 4. But that was because of a gas leak.)
* VideoGame/OctopathTraveler - Gotta do that postgame and some endgame quests, but all the characters are excellent and their separate plots are really solid. Gameplay is solid and the visuals are beautiful.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKuNKUeR8AE&list=PLNFK4Zbrx7ZERM3BGSCSfQzu-L9rWEfuE&index=5&ab_channel=RecD This video]], based off VideoGame/FridayNightFunkin. It's weirdly sweet, given how things end up for Senpai in the original game.
* ''The Night Country'' by Stewart O'Nan. A stream-of-consciousness novel, including but not limited to PosthumousNarration, OhAndXDies, and more! How could I not like it?
* {{WesternAnimation/Arcane}}. The logical conclusion of the above. It develops Piltover and Zaun very well, as well as the various characters and plotlines. Can't wait for Season 2!

* VideoGame/GenshinImpact - Good timesink, interesting, and beautiful graphics-wise. The gacha is annoying, but you really don't need to worry about it if you're not a completionist and just looking to have a good time.

* {{VideoGame/Omori}}. An interesting exploration of mental health, friendships, and just how much people can change. It's a bit too jump-scarey and gory for my taste, but I still like it.
* VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends. Okay, it's mainly for the lore, but ''dang'' is it good lore. Plus I don't play ranked.

* Series/FateTheWinxSaga - apparently there was/is a cartoon that this is adapting. I did not know that before I watched this, and it honestly wouldn't have impacted my feelings about it. I'm not into all the romance drama and most of the main characters are annoying at best. The effects are decent until the end of the first season, though.
* Film/ManOfSteel - Superman being raised by parents who didn't want him to reveal his powers was interesting in theory. In practice, it's a confusing, visually uninteresting mess with inconsistent characterization, and the bits we saw where Superman was being ''a good Superman'' just made me disappointed that the rest of the movie wasn't like that.
* Film/BatmanVSupermanDawnOfJustice - Really, just more of the above. Dull color palette, boring characters that tried so hard to be gritty and dark it came out the other end as {{Narm}}, and an utterly inconsequential ending. Yawn.
* {{VideoGame/Overwatch}} - I tried very hard to like this game, but the unfun meta and the glacial pace of the lore, not to mention the current state of Activision, drove me away. Not coming back for the sequel.
[[/folder]]
[[folder:Tropes I enjoy]]
* ThePowerOfFriendship and ThePowerOfLove ''when executed well'' - if the work has convinced me that the friendship/love exists in sufficient amounts among the main cast, it's very touching regardless of how much of an AssPull it may be. If that friendship and love isn't shown to be there, well, I'm inclined to be less forgiving.
* FriendlyGhost, UnfinishedBusiness, GhostlyGoals - yes, I really like VideoGame/FinalFantasyX, why do you ask? :p Somewhat more seriously, I find the afterlife a fascinating subject.
* ''Intentional'' MoodWhiplash ''when done well'' - in these cases, the audience can be jolted out of their comfort zones and forced to address an issue considerably funnier or more serious than what they were experience previously.
[[/folder]]
[[folder:Characters I like]]
* Eliwood, VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBlazingBlade. I like me a good traditional ThePowerOfFriendship lord, what else is there to say?
* Canas, VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBlazingBlade. Cute, nerdy, [[BreadEggsBreadedEggs cutely nerdy]], provides one of the most interesting perspectives on DarkIsNotEvil I've seen. Also his relationship with Nino is sweet.
* Grynewaht, VideoGame/FinalFantasyXIV. This is a weird one, but I like the arc he traces - consistently defeated by the Warrior of Light and eventually desperate and mad enough to undergo Hypertuning, which drives him completely insane and to an extent causes him to be suicidal - "we go together" being one of his few non-HulkSpeak lines, anyone?
* Haurchefant, VideoGame/FinalFantasyXIV. TheParagon in all the best ways. A knight lives to serve - to aid those in need.

[[ItMakesSenseInContext The scene where the typical anime protagonist boy asks the actual protagonist if he can copy her homework]] is one of my favorite scenes.
to:
* VisualNovel/YourTurnToDie - Haven't actually played it, because I feel like exploding from stress just watching a playthrough and I don't want to know what would happen from actually playing the game. It's interesting and a slow burn of horror, even if it tries too hard to be scary sometimes and some of the plot developments ask you to suspend your disbelief too much. [[ItMakesSenseInContext The scene where the typical anime protagonist boy asks the actual protagonist if he can copy her homework]] homework scene]] is one of my favorite scenes.
