* CreatorBacklash: Kind of. In his video about JPOG modded remakes (which predate this series), [=RickRaptor105=] makes a self-deprecating joke about how he "hates whoever started the trend" of these fanworks.

** In rickraptor105's series, ''Kaprosuchus'' was considered for the lineup of Predator Paradise (the Kem Kem Beds). It was removed because 1. It's not known from the formation, 2. The lineup was already full and 3. It's introduction would have required a third animal added in as prey for it, for reasons rickraptor outlines in the description of the artwork.
** Also from rickraptor's series, the episode Global Domination was originally meant to focus on the fauna of South America during the Miocene, and would've featured borhyaenids, astrapotheres and glyptodonts. However, the episode occurs around the time that many modern mammal groups were coming into dominance (from true carnivorans to proboscideans (elephants)), so he decided to divide it between the fauna of South America and North America, connected by the journey of a migrating pelagornid.
** In WDGHK's series, Triassic Europe was originally considered for the setting, but ultiaty lost out to Triassic South America, as it gave the artist named cynodonts to work with.
** ''Sciurumimus'' and were both considered for the Cruel Seas remake, but were discarded to keep the cast reasonably sized.
