Old Shame is In-Universe only

* CreatorBacklash:
** Discussed in Episode 6 of Toonami Pre-Flight, where Jason and Gil list 6 things that they consider to be Toonami's greatest failures, including the airing of ''Series/WulinWarriors'', ''Hamtaro'', and ''Tenchi Muyo! GXP'', as well as the Klik Skate Tour, TOM 4, and the cancellation of Toonami. During the same episode of Pre-Flight, the Toonami Facebook page considered the airing of ''Manga/BoboboboBobobo'' to be a failure, [[AvertedTrope a notion that Jason and Gil both immediately shot down]].
** To a lesser extent, Toonami was actually ''not'' proud to present ''WesternAnimation/HeManAndTheMastersOfTheUniverse2002'', especially since [[ExecutiveMeddling Cartoon Network more or less forced them to air it]].
** Implied to be the case with ''WesternAnimation/JonnyQuestTheRealAdventures'' (and eventually confirmed to be so, as it was yet another show that they were forced to air), as Jason very bluntly admitted to hating the show on Toonami Pre-Flight. And when ''WesternAnimation/BeastWars'' took its spot for a week, the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDgP9EbSFm0 promo]] featured Rattrap shooting Jonny into a pit.
** Averted with the "special surprise" (''WesternAnimation/KingStarKing'', ''WesternAnimation/KorgothOfBarbaria'', and ''Kick-Heart'') that aired on November 3, 2013 for Daylight Savings Time. Despite the very negative reception the event garnered, Jason [=DeMarco=] still defended the decision to air it.

** The Toonami crew's policy with show openings and endings is to use a shortened opening provided by the show's distributor for the sake of making way for commercials. Despite this, the first available episode of a show, or when a show is the lead-in slot when the block starts, if nessisary, usually keeps the show's full opening. The endings are also shortened regardless, except for the first two seasons of ''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure''. This may exclude shows from Adult Swim and Crunchyroll, ''Anime/HousingComplexC'' and ''Anime/NinjaKamui'', since these are always in the lead-in slot during its premiere runs, as well as its rerun slots. The same goes with ''[[Anime/{{Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex}} Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex]]'', due to being originally aired on Adult Swim. This makes it more reasonable due to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_FI23unAH0 TOM's answer]].
** Downplayed in regards to ''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure'', since it was given the same treatment of having its opening and ending shortened. However, many fans speculated that the ending (which uses "[[Music/{{Yes}} Roundabout]]" as its theme) would end up getting either dubbed over with different music or cut out entirely due to licensing issues. This notion was jossed entirely when the promo for the series was revealed on Pre-Flight and finally when the series began airing proper, as "Roundabout" was kept as the theme.

Not Trivia

* DrinkingGame:
** Take a shot every time someone asks Gill or Jason about a hypothetical addition to the network, and they respond with some form of "We can't talk about that yet."
** Take a shot when TOM and SARA reference themselves being robots and intelligences, respectively.

Only applies to/goes under the work the error is about, not the one making it.

* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer: On more than one separate occasion, Toonami's official Facebook page has referred to ''Webcomic/MobPsycho100'' as "Mob Psycho 101".
