* RevivalByCommercialization - Creator/DavidLynch arguably did this by putting "Song to the Siren" on the soundtrack of ''Film/LostHighway''. It's also showed up in Creator/PeterJackson's ''Film/TheLovelyBones''. It also benefitted from the use of a soundalike in a mid-80s TV ad for Thompson holidays - Watts-Russell wouldn't license TMC's version, but since it was a CoverVersion anyway, he couldn't stop anyone else from doing their own in the same style. And as the ad version wasn't released in its own right, anyone entranced by the soundtrack would have to buy the TMC version instead.
