* DawsonCasting: Every teenage character in the series is played by an actor several years older than a high school student ought to be. At 19, only Bo-na (Krystal Jung) is technically still a teenager in the cast. Tan's actor, Lee Min-ho, is the worst at 26. He's actually a year older than his on-screen senior, Hyo-shin (Kang Ha-neul), and a year younger than Won (Choi Jin-hyuk), despite the fact that the latter is canonically about ''ten years'' his senior.
* PlayingGertrude: Yoon So-ha (Esther) and Choi Won-young (Jae-ho) are 15-16 years older than Kim Ji-won (Rachel) and Kang Min-hyuk (Chan-young), respectively, yet they play their parents. This is surprisingly averted with Tan's mother, Ki-ae; despite the above dawson casting bumping Tan up into a physical 26-year-old, the [[OlderThanTheyLook young-looking]] Kim Sung-ryung is still 20 years older than Lee Min-ho. The gap would widen even more if you pretend that he's really 18.
