* ProductionLeadTime: The second season of the anime was suddenly greenlit before it was supposed to air, which caused problems for the animators. As such, the characters in the show hand wave the problem away by saying that they won’t move much and that the animators will eventually catch up. The show finally becomes fully animated again partway during the third episode of that season.

* SerendipityWritesThePlot: In order to get around the lack of animation in the second season, the Tesaguri cast suggests that the animators reuse clips from the previous season with the audio for the episode. When Koharu points out that there might be continuity errors because of this (clothing, places, etc.), the other girls say that it doesn’t matter as long as the point is made. Hina even warns that the episode might not even have colored drawings, and instead will be forced to use rough sketches. This gets humorously abused when the wrong characters start speaking on screen, images not from the correct anime get thrown in, textures are incorrectly placed, and Yua’s character model is swapped with a [[SuperDeformed chibi one wearing nipple pasties]]. Taken to eleven when the ending gag with the Sonota sisters only features the outside of the gym spinning and reflecting what the Tesaguri club is screaming in the windows.

* VoicesInOneRoom: One of the biggest draws of the show are the improv segments that feature all of the voice actresses freely talking about a subject together. This becomes such a big point that when one of the voice actresses isn’t able to make a recording, the character has to explain her absence from the show.

* ScheduleSlip: While the anime did air as announced, the second season was greenlit so late that portions of the first few episodes weren’t properly animated. This lead to numerous meta jokes about characters being unable to move.
