** Hellgate was originally simply called "SDM of the future", but Arachnos announced that he refuses to affiliate the OmnicidalManiac to the Scarlet Devil Mansion in any way and started to call him Hellgate. The nickname stuck, and Hellgate is now his official name.
** Another one, again involving Arachnos, happened for Kanako's nameless villain, originally known as "The Hooded Man" and now at Arachnos's (out of RP) suggestion and Kanako's approval usually known as "Mr. Hood".
** Another happened for the ''Bloodward Diaries'' (again of Arachnos' writing) in the Gaiden thread. The story was intended to be mostly about Rumia and the character was originally supposed to be simply some random human, until [=KanakoVoWG=] suggested it might be worked into Desmond's backstory. Apparently Arachnos is a pro at this.
