Since then Refn's also made The Neon Demon, which premiered at Cannes and has about as many people liking it as there are hating it, while Gosling has stared in The Big Short and The Nice Guys and was liked in both, and he will appear in a Terrence Malick film and the sequel to Blade Runner.
