** Kuroba Mario was new to the acting scene when he joined the cast of ''Musical Touken Ranbu'' as Mikazuki Munechika, having only previously appeared in ''The Prince of Tennis The Musical'' as Eiji Kikumaru in the seventh generation of ''Tenimyu'' prior to graduation. He credits Eiji with inspiring him to come to Tokyo in the first place, where he began his acting career; however, Mikazuki was the role that catapulted him to stardom, and he has since become an established actor.
** Okamiya Kurumu's acting career was officially launched by his beloved role as Tsurumaru Kuninaga, and he has enjoyed rapid success since his debut in ''Kishou Hongi''.
** Shin Tamura's role as Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki solidified his career as an actor, as it was initially his only major acting role in a project, and he has since gone on to star in other works.

** In an early interview following the performance of Bakamatsu Tenrouden, Ryuji Sato, Kashuu Kiyomitsu's actor, revealed that Kashuu Kiyomitsu's solo performance was proposed to the production team due to his desire for more time spent developing his character, and that his idea would make Kashuu the first 2.5D character to be featured in a series of solo performances. Years later, Hirofumi Araki, who plays Nikkari Aoe, would follow in his footsteps and propose the concept of a Tanki performance starring Nikkari, hoping that his performance would inspire others to propose that their characters be featured in their own solo journeys.

** Actor Hirofumi Araki, who plays Nikkari Aoe, revealed in an interview that Nikkari received a Tanki performance because he took the initiative to propose the idea of expanding on the character to the production team following ''Shinken Ranbusai'' 2017, which had a story that focused a little bit on Nikkari. He also intended for this performance to serve as an inspiration to the other actors involved in the project, so that they would also want and request solo performances that expanded on the characters they were portraying.

* DuelingWorks: With ''Theatre/ToukenRanbuStage''. Both are stage adaptations of ''VideoGame/ToukenRanbu'' that have grown in popularity, albeit for different reasons due to their distinct tone This was most likely not Nitroplus' intention, though, as they were planned as part of a project to provide fans with multiple ways to immerse themselves in the universe of ''Touken Ranbu'', and both usually try to avoid stepping on each other's toes when it comes to scheduling performances. The musical production's website also has a link to the official stage website.

* DuelingWorks: With ''Theatre/ToukenRanbuStage'', although this was most likely not the original plan, as both are ''Touken Ranbu'' adaptations that were announced at the same time to provide fans with multiple ways to immerse themselves in the ''Touken Ranbu'' universe, similar to the two anime adaptations. However, as the years passed, both productions became more established, resulting in inevitable overlap, competition for revenue, and even internal fan comparisons on which theatrical production is superior.
