* ThrowItIn: In the play, Kutuzov’s last line before he leaves used to be: "What a day! What in the world is prettier than the sun?" Then one of the actors who played him in the early productions improvised the following: "Yes, well done! (To Shura, in a whisper) And you would have been prettier as a girl!" The author liked it, and this line was kept and made its way to the film as well.
