* NoDubForYou: Unlike Hazbin Hotel, the series has no Japanese dub, through it did had an European French one, plus semi-official dubs in both Latin American and European Spanish, and a Czech one.

* PopCultureUrbanLegends: Many fans found it odd that Loona had no lines in either "Exes and Oohs" or "Western Energy", especially the latter, since it had a subplot about Blitzo taking her to the vet. Since her voice actress Creator/EricaLindbeck's boyfriend Creator/BillyKametz had died of cancer not long before the episodes were produced, it was speculated that the episodes were rewritten to remove her dialogue so she would have time to grieve. However, both series creator Creator/VivienneMedrano and Lindbeck herself [[https://twitter.com/VivziePop/status/1669459017641656322?cxt=HHwWhIDUmbSIjqsuAAAA later stated]] that the episodes were produced as originally intended, meaning Loona not having any dialogue was planned before Kametz died. The same speculation circulated again after "Unhappy Campers" aired, where Loona had only a non-speaking cameo at the end.

* WordOfSaintPaul: Crew members [[Music/TheLivingTombstone Sam Haft]] and [[https://twitter.com/Radvumtal Melanie Mrozek]] will debunk many controversies surrounding Viv that [[OvershadowedByControversy overshadow the production of the show]].

** Near the end of December 2022, storyboards of scenes from two future episodes were leaked onto 4chan well, ''well'' before they're supposed to air, revealing major spoilers for them. The leaker discovered that the normally password-protected portfolio of a storyboard artist had a security vulnerability on their site where slightly changing the end of the url granted them access without needing to know the password. The subsequent takedowns of the videos when they inevitably spread and the artist changing their bio on Twitter/X to refer to their status on the show in past tense (indicating they were fired) [[StreisandEffect had the side effect of confirming their authenticity.]]

* FakeBrit:
** American Bryce Pinkham and Barrett Wilbert Weed voice the British-accented Stolas and Octavia. Averted with Stolas' young voice actor, Leander Lewis, who was born in the United Kingdom, but moved to the United States.

* TimeShiftedActor: TBA. Averted with Blitzo and Fizzarolli as teenagers, where Alex and Rogers still voice them.

** Vivienne voices the male demon client and Monica Franco voices Counselor Jimmy in episode "Unhappy Campers".

* WordOfSaintPaul: After a heated debate regarding Stolas' genitals was revived and trended on Twitter a week before the premiere of "The Circus", the storyboard lead of Helluva Boss and storyboard artist for ''Hazbin Hotel'' [[https://twitter.com/R2ninjaturtle/status/1550610667002011649 tweeted out]] (with Viv's permission) that Stolas indeed has a cloaca. However, that doesn't mean both shows can't reference characters from each other such as overlords Vox and Carmilla Carmine, Lucifer Morningstar, Belphegor and even Robo Fizzarolli with Valentino owning one in Hazbin Hotel.

* DearNegativeReader: Vivienne is pretty fond of responding whenever criticism of the show sprung up, though whether it's for better or worse is up for debate:

She claims that she doesn't agree with the criticism and finds them funny, mentioning that she was influenced by Creator/SethRogen comedies and shows like WesternAnimation/SouthPark. The user who made the edit claimed that she blocked him as well.
