* TheOtherDarrin: Rather noticeable in the English version, with characters changing voices between games. This is very noticeable for Diego, who doesn't even attempt to have the same ''type'' of voice (going from "deep" to "nasely")

** Depends on the release. The Polish version of the Gothic series is notable for having many of the same actors reprise their roles from previous games. Apart from the protagonist (obviously), at least Diego and Xardas have the same actor voice them. On the other hand, G2 with [[ExpansionPack Night of the Raven]] installed can invoke this ''within the same game''. You might be listening to someone talk about the quest they're giving to you, then suddenly switch their voice to talk about some EP-only stuff.

* UrbanLegendOfZelda: For the first game, there are a lot of rumors about it being somehow possible to acquire the Heavy Guard Armor without cheats. There are even people claiming that they ''[[MandelaEffect allegedly]]'' managed to get it legitimately. However, looking into the scripting used for the relevant dialogue reveals that a dialogue line for acquiring the armor doesn't even exist, there is only the one stating that you do not yet meet the requirements. The fact that there are various fan-made mods that DO let you acquire the armor muddles the waters all the more.
