** In the original draft of the game, Gardenia was the protagonist and the game was about feeding people. Segawa even notes that he had created pretty much every other character before creating Russell and having him take Gardenia's place.
** There was going to be another world based on Russell's school, but Segawa scrapped it when he realized Russell wasn't in school enough to have the important memories to be the basis of such a world. He admits that as a result an event with Chris searching the school for ghosts was cut.
