* RealitySubtext: This episode is filled with it. The entire premise is about how a member of Greendale (which has historically represented the RealLife show and cast) has finally left to achieve Hollywood success. Jeff eventually reveals that he's tremendously jealous of Chang and everybody else because "they get to leave" and he never will. Community has proven to be a fairly successful launching ground for the careers of most of the cast (most notably [[Music/ChildishGambino Donald Glover]] and Creator/AlisonBrie), and Chang's actor, Ken Jeong, is part of a legitimate blockbuster [[Film/TheHangover series]]. Meanwhile, while Joel [=McHale=] has a couple successful TV Shows, he's certainly not [[RunningGag Chris Pratt]].
