Naturally, the next enemy they encounter aboard the ship is a Space Marine Librarian, standing over the remains of another Jedi strike team who he had ambushed earlier. Many Jedi would be either lost or critically injured in the battle that followed.

* ''Webcomic/NaruHinaChronicles'': Neji is ''very'' reluctant to tell Lee and Gai that not only is he engaged to Tenten, but also that the latter is pregnant. Much to his surprise, Lee and Gai are relatively calm while talking to Tenten about it. Neji then thinks he was worried for nothing about them doing something embarrassing. This is followed by Gai telling Neji [[SoProudOfYou how proud he is of the latter]]. So far, so good... until Gai [[OcularGushers cries in an over-the-top way]] and [[LargeHam makes a speech that's equally over-the-top]], much to Neji's annoyance.

** When Chloe declares that she's going to fight Stormy Weather unprompted, Tikki has a moment of starry-eyed awe where she thinks that even ''she'' has moments of selflessness... before Chloe goes on to rant about how Stormy Weather ''ruined'' her 'date' with Adrien, proving that her motives aren't as pure as Tikki hoped.

She then proceeds to outline all of the ways that said karma unfolded, secure in the knowledge that they're learning this too late to ''avoid'' any of the upcoming events, as they were set in motion before Time-Turner's involvement.

** When [[EmpoweredBadassNormal Jade]] first arrives on Meridian and [[NiceJobBreakingItHero is targeted by the heroes who suspect her of being Prince Phobos' underling]], Irma says nearly arrogantly that she couldn't possibly beat [[BadassNormal Caleb]] or the [[MagicalGirlWarrior Guardians]] themselves when [[TheMentor Yan Lin]] warns them not to underestimate someone they don't know. The chase ends with [[TheWorfEffect the Guardians, Caleb and a dozen of soldiers being restrained]] by [[TendrilsOfDarkness shadow tentacles]] created by Jade who's rendered [[DemonicPossession under the influence]] of the [[SuperPoweredEvilSide Queen of the Shadowkhan]] by the provocations thrown at her. All they can do is staring helplessly and fearfully as she threatens to [[BraindFood eat their brains]], and they're saved only by Jade restraining herself.

** When we get to Elyon's POV in Chapter 5, her thoughts reveal that she hadn't believed things could get worse after the Shadowkhan stopped their devastating assault, only to learn she was doing this trope as she finds out that the attack was just a diversion to allow Jade to free Phobos and his loyalists.

** As Vathek and Drake leave Yoruichi behind to HoldTheLine during the storming of Cavigor, she reassures that the heavy stone blocking the entrance to the upper level will prevent Frost's troops from entering for a long while.
