** "Bumble Beams" has the petpets get ''melted down'' if they're not rescued. Doubles as NightmareFuel.
** "Petpetsitter" has the petpets just ''disappear'' if not looked after. Especially bad with the Robot petpets as if they stay broken for too long, they turn into a puddle of oil and have to be mopped up. Also doubles as NightmareFuel as [[NothingIsScarier we never know what happens to the petpets.]]

The Sparky was created as a tribute to a real-life dog named Sparky who had died shortly before the Sparky Petpet was released. This real-life Sparky was owned by former TNT artist Claire Hummel and was the original inspiration for the creation of the Spardel.

* Baelia the Grey Faerie lost her name and powers to Jennumara the Dark Faerie. When she gives out quests, she mentions that it's okay if you couldn't find the items because hardly anyone helps grey faeries.
