* In ''ComicBook/UnstoppableWasp'', Nadia suffers her first major setback when the super-science terrorist organization A.I.M. attacks her group G.I.R.L. Rattled by this, she ends up falling into her first Manic episode, made worse by her Microverse-based lab, which [[YearInsideHourOutside time moves slightly faster in there]]. Janet van Dyne recognizes the signs, but she and Bobbi Morse misread one Nadia's notes and runs off on a wild goose chase, leaving the rest of the recovered G.I.R.L. to confront a sleep-deprived and still Manic-fueled Nadia, who flips out and attacks them between one of the girls accusing her of trying to "fix" her and the others trying to keep her away from her lab. While Nadia runs off back to her lab in confusion, the other girls save for Priya run off in a huff, forcing her to chase after Nadia. She finds her mere moments away from [[DrivenToSuicide throwing herself off of the roof of her lab]], suffering the other end of her Manic episode and realizing she just attacked her friends, thus making her the bad guy. Priya is able to [[TalkingDownTheSuicidal bring Nadia back to her senses]] and [[YouAreNotAlone reassure her that there are others that still love her]]. When the two return to normal size just as Janet and Bobbi return, Nadia clings to Janet, tearfully admitting she might be bipolar and she needs help.

* One issue of ''[[ComicBook/ThePunisher Punisher War Journal]]'' double whammies, especially with the last pages if you hadn't heard of what happened. The entire story isn't about Frank Castle, but about a normal joe named Ian, whose apparently a member of the NYPD. A supervillain ends up causing a ruckus and Ian holds him at gunpoint, ready to take him down. However, as the story progresses, you come to find out why he became a cop and why he was here now: [[spoiler:he became a cop following the 9/11 attacks, but he wasn't a full cop, just an auxillary one.
