* Ramona's backstory. After the Countess killed Ramona's boyfriend, Ramona moved back in with her parents. Her mother died soon after, and her father, who was already senile, got much worse due to his grief over his wife's death. He was getting worse and worse, until some robbers nearly killed him. Ramona infected him with the virus to save his life, but it didn't cure his dementia. He lived like that for multiple decades, sometimes not able to remember his daughter. After a long time, Ramona decided that since that her father was not himself anymore, she needed to put him out of his misery, so she very reluctantly drowned him in the bathtub.

Moments pages are Spoilers Off pages.

* Iris being [[spoiler: DrivenToSuicide]] by Donovan's claim that she was a bad mother.
** Later, Donovan [[spoiler: desperately trying to bring her back from the brink of death]] using the virus.
** At this point, you actually ''feel sorry'' for Donovan when [[spoiler: he tries to save Iris. While Iris ''obviously'' isn't the best mother, Liz Taylor told him straight forward: she did what she could for him, even if it wasn't enough. Imagine being in his shoes when he hits that realization, goes to apologize, only to find her ''dying''. Because of what '''he''' said. No wonder he jumps the gun with using the virus to save her]].

* Alex telling John [[spoiler: that she wants a divorce]]. The look on his face when she said that is just ''devastating'', and veers towards BreakTheHaughty, especially when [[spoiler: he tells Alex that he loves her and asking if he did something wrong]]. Even when [[spoiler: Alex is just about to leave, he only holds onto her hand and simply begins to break down '''hard''', even concerning Alex as he just begs her to not leave him. It looks like he's about to suffer a panic attack]]!
** Even worse is that [[spoiler: Alex isn't divorcing him because he's a bad husband, but because she believes it'd be best for the two of them since Holden's disappearance. She even tells him that she loves him too]].

* While it's intended to be funny, Iris' tribute video to herself is somewhat sad. Especially considering she made it because she felt it was the only way she'd be remembered.
