One Night Ultimate Werewolf is a SocialDeductionGame published by Bezier Games starting in 2014. It's a simplified version of TabletopGame/Werewolf and Mafia in that the whole game is decided in one round. Some roles from Werewolf function differently while a few others are added.

The game can be played with a moderator, but a smartphone app can be used if a moderator cannot be found. Each player is given a card denoting their role while three other cards are left in the center.

Sessions are divided into two phases: the night phase and the day phase. During the night phase, the players keep their eyes closed unless told to "wake up" by the app or moderator so they can perform some action. These actions may include looking at or switching cards of themselves, other players, or the center pile. The day phase has the players debating between each other what actions were performed during the night phase and with whom. The day phase ends with the players voting on who they think is the werewolf. The player who receives the most votes is eliminated. If the eliminated player is a werewolf, the villager team wins. If the werewolves survive, they win. Other teams have other winning conditions.

A number of expansion packs, which can be played by themselves, have been released:
* One Night Ultimate Daybreak introduces artifacts which can change a role's team or behavior during the game. The new roles include werewolves with special actions. If one of those roles, the Alpha Wolf, is used, a fourth card which is always a werewolf is added to the center pile.
* One Night Ultimate Vampire introduces Marks which can change a role's team or induce a special effect upon elimination. It also introduces a new phase: the dusk phase where players who can apply Marks can do so. As the title suggests, the non-villagers in this expansion are vampires instead of werewolves.
* One Night Ultimate Alien has aliens instead of werewolves. Many of the new roles have random actions, so the app is absolutely required for play.
* One Night Ultimate Super Villains is a superhero-themed expansion with more cartoonish artwork and a LighterAndSofter attitude.

Additionally, a number of bonus packs have been released adding new roles and alternate artwork for existing ones. Each one has been released after one of the expansions starting with Daybreak.

!!One Night Ultimate Werewolf contains examples of:

* DevelopersForesight: The app Zigzags this:
** If more than one group of non-villagers (werewolves, vampires, aliens, or super villains) are put into the game, the app's announcer says to prepare for an epic battle. Originally, the app said the epic battle would be between villagers, werewolves, and vampires, but didn't add aliens when that expansion was released. As of Super Villains, the app only says to prepare for an epic battle, but not who it's between.
** The Doppelganger was introduced in Werewolf and originally performed the action of whoever's role her player looked at after that role. The developers originally added in other Doppelganger roles as the roles they copied were added. Around Alien, they simply had the Doppelganger perform her night action when looking at the other player's role card.
** Aversion: Even if there is only one of each non-villager type, the app still tells those players to look for others of that type. On the other hand, if the only Super Villain in the game is Henchman Number 7 (who has no actions), the app tells him to wake up and immediately go back to sleep.
** As of the release of Bonus Pack 4, there are a combined eighty-six roles across the various games and bonus packs and it is possible to select all of them. If so...
-->Really? You've selected all the roles? I have better things to do and I'm sure you do too.
* ExtremelyShortTimespan: One round takes place over one night as the title indicates.
* FurAgainstFang: Can be invoked by combining Werewolf and/or Daybreak with Vampire. The official rules state that the werewolves win if none of them are eliminated and the vampires win if none of them are eliminated.
* SecretSecretKeeper: Numerous roles can look at someone else's card to find out their role without that player finding out. Some, such as the Seer or Robber, are instructed to look at another player's card while the non-villagers reveal themselves to others, such as the Minion or Renfield.
* TomatoInTheMirror: Various roles can switch cards between players. This can have players in the role of a werewolf, vampire, or anything else without knowing it.

Roles: Doppelganger, Werewolf, Minion, Mason, Seer, Robber, Troublemaker, Drunk, Insomniac, Villager, Hunter, Tanner
* DeathSeeker: The Tanner only wins if he himself is eliminated.
* DittoFighter: The Doppelganger's action is to look at another player's card and become a second example of that role.
* TheRenfield: The Minion is not a werewolf, but is on their team. He wins with the werewolves if they remain alive even if he himself is killed.
* TakingYouWithMe: If the Hunter is eliminated, so is the person he is pointing at.
* TomatoInTheMirror: The Insomniac can defy this. Her action is to look at her card at the end of the night phase and see if it's been switched with anything.

Roles: Sentinel, Alpha Wolf, Mystic Wolf, Apprentice Seer, Paranormal Investigator, Witch, Village Idiot, Revealer, Curator, Dreamwolf, Bodyguard
* AndThenJohnWasAZombie: The Paranormal Investigator's action is to look at other players' cards. If he finds a werewolf or other non-villager, he becomes that role, implying that he was turned by that creature.
* EvilCounterpart: The Mystic Wolf is one for the Seer as her action is to view one other player's card.
* TheVirus: The Alpha Wolf's action is to replace one villager's card with that of the werewolf card in the center pile.

Roles: Copycat, Vampire, The Count, The Master, Renfield, Diseased, Cupid, Instigator, Priest, Assassin, Apprentice Assassin, Marksman, Pickpocket, Gremlin
* ClassicalMovieVampire: The Vampire and The Count bear this image with their fangs and fancy outfits.
* DittoFighter: The Copycat's action is to look at a card in the center pile and assume the role of that card. The player then performs that action when asked by the app.
* KlingonPromotion: If the Assassin and Apprentice Assassin are both in the game, the Apprentice Assassin only wins if the Assassin is killed.
* LooksLikeOrlock: The Master looks less human than the Vampire and The Count with his pale grey skin, bald head, pointed ears, and upward pointing fangs.
* TheRenfield: Renfield, obviously. He's not a vampire, but wins if they win even if he is killed.
* TogetherInDeath: Cupid's action is to apply the Mark of Love to two players. If one of them is eliminated, the other also dies. (Implied to be from a broken heart.)
* VampireHickey: The Mark of the Vampire depicts a neck with two puncture wounds.
* TheVirus: When the vampires wake up, they choose a villager and give that player the Mark of the Vampire which converts that role to the vampire team.

Roles: Oracle, Alien, Synthetic, Cow, Groob, Zerb, Leader, Psychic, Rascal, Exposer, Blob, Mortician
* AlienInvasion: The premise of this expansion is that aliens have landed in the village and have taken human form. The villagers have found out and must determine who is an alien.
* AliensStealCattle: Subverted. The Cow is one role, except the aliens do not capture it. Instead, they tip it.
* CowTipping: The Cow's action is to stick out her fist and let an alien tap it if one is next to her. The app specifically says the alien is tipping the Cow.
* DeathSeeker: The Synthetic only wins if he gets killed.

Roles: Mirror Man, Temptress, Dr. Peeker, Rapscallion, Henchman # 7, Evil-O-Meter, Mad Scientist, Intern, Annoying Lad, Detector, Role Retriever, Voodoo Lou, Switcheroo, Self-Awareness Girl, Flipper, Innocent Bystander
* AnimalSuperheroes: Role Retriever is a dog who's on the hero team and has the ability to assume the role of another player.
* CutenessProximity: The app announcer talks to Role Retriever's player like talking to a dog.
-->Role Retriever, wake up. That's a good boy. You may steal a card from any other player and replace it with your original card. Then view your new card. You are now that role. Do not wake up again or wag your tail if your new card is called. (beat) Role Retriever, close your eyes and dream about chasing bunnies through a poppy field.
* LighterAndSofter: Compared to the other games, Super Villains has more cartoonish artwork and the app's announcer jokes around more. Also, the eliminated player is said to be captured instead of killed.
* MovesetClone: Most of the roles have the same actions as roles from earlier games:
** Mirror Man is a DittoFighter like the Doppelganger.
** Temptress can turn a villager into a villain by replacing that person's card with that of a supervillain, similar to the Alpha Wolf.
** Dr. Peeker is a villain who may look at one other player's card like the Mystic Wolf.
** Henchman # 7 is a villain with no actual actions like the Werewolf.
** Evil-O-Meter holds out a fist which must be tapped by a Super Villain sitting next to her, similar to the Cow.
** Mad Scientist wants to get caught just like the Tanner.
*** The Intern wants to help the Mad Scientist get caught unless there is no Mad Scientist. Then she wants to get caught instead. This also describes the Apprentice Tanner.
** Role Retriever switches his card with that of another player like the Robber.
** Self-Awareness Girl looks at her card at the end of the night phase to confirm her identity like the Insomniac.
** Innocent Bystander is a villager with no actions or special conditions like the Villager.

Roles:
* Bonus Pack 1: Aura Seer, Prince, Cursed
* Bonus Pack 2: Apprentice Tanner, Thing (That Goes Bump In The Night), Squire, Beholder
* Bonus Pack 3: Body Snatcher, Nostradamus, Empath
* Bonus Pack 4: Family Man, The Sponge, Ricochet Rhino, Defender-Er, Windy Wendy
* MovesetClone: Some of the roles introduced in Bonus Pack 4 are similar to ones from earlier releases:
** Family Man brings other players into his "family" and wins if they all survive, just like the Blob.
** The Sponge can't be caught, leaving the player with the second most votes to be eliminated. The Prince is the same.
** The Defender-er actually protects the player she is pointing at and any other votes for that player are disregarded. The Bodyguard does the same thing.
** Windy Wendy is a hero unless a Super Villain points at her. The Cursed works the same way.
* ShoutOut: The Empath bears a striking resemblance to another notable empath, Deanna Troi.
